Today's the day. While you wait for Jurassic World and Chris Pratt to woo you with their dino-prowess, why not kill some time in an Unreal 4-powered survival sandbox? Team up with over a hundred players on the Early Access servers, build towns, tame dinosaurs, and more. Our own first impressions and streams will be coming later today.

For now, you can visit the game's Steam Page to check out the trailers, game guide info, and purchase the Early Access for $20 if you're so inclined.

ARK: Survival Evolved is made by the independent Studio Wildcard, and this is their first game. Down the road it's also coming to PS4 and Xbox One, but only on PC for now.

    There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

    Seems to be a lot of crafting, RPG mechanics in assigned skill points to your stats, picking what you can or can't build through leveling, and so forth. So far, pretty cool. Only got about an hour in before work though.

    I enjoyed watching the Twitch streamers play this yesterday. Ark looks like one of the best early access games to come out thus far.

    Pretty sure it is outside of XBOne and PS4. Maybe it'll change down the road.
