Shared Housing in expansion?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hey guys, 

 

First time poster - long time lurker up until several months ago. I've been looking around for an answer and I can't seem to find one, even when I use the search function. 

 

Does anyone know if the next expansion for the game we'll be able to share our private houses with other people? Members of my old FC told me they saw an article or an interview with Yoshida confirming we'd be able to share our houses with other people. I bought a house awhile back and just formed an FC with my friends here but we're nowhere near rank 6 and I would like to share my house with them and use the FC perks that come with being in an FC. 

 

Could anyone confirm or direct me to such an article?

    I can confirm that they mentioned making housing sharable between spouses (those who got married in game).  There have been posts popping up with people asking the same be allowed to friends and the Free Company.  No estimate on when this will be implemented.

    Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

    Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

    Hmm... okay the spouse thing makes sense for sure. I heard that there's a translated video with Yoshida with NicoNico that he confirmed shared housing will be released after Heavensward is released but damned if I can find it... seems that translation is as elusive as a magical unicorn.
