I sure will. It may be a type of Korean game, but as long as it has guns, robots and a techy look

over the same old Fantasy mmorpg out there with wizards and warriors, I am game.

Playing now Dark Age of Camelot, Eve Online and soon RF Online.

Burnt out on WoW and SWG sucks now (heh, NGE of course).

Looking forward to trying out Dark and Light, Roma Victor and Vanguard.

I will definatly be playing RF for quite some time. The only games that i would consider playing instead (when/if they come out) are Fallen Earth, Tabula Rasa and Darkfall. There are quite a few other i am looking forward to trying out but i dont think any of them will take me away from RF.

I'll buy the game but I doubt it will keep me from what I am really waiting for,,Vanguard! and AoC..Its a nice change of pace, but when Vanguard goes live,I'll be leaving anything for it..

Yea Ill begiving this game a shot, Im hoping that Codemasters has the ability to make the required fixes to make it a bit more user friendly. Not sure Ill stay with it for a long long time though if they dont.

I most definetly will be playing this seems like my kind of game that will keep me hooked for years to come.  Since beta's over and i know some of you really wanted to try the game before buying it i suggest you do a little research and see if the games for you.  If you live for pvp then this game is definetly for you.  If you want little carebear quests where you have to go deliver muffins for Mrs. Johnson down the street then this is not your kind of game.

No, can't get into the 8 year old elf mech drivers against the 15 year old elf magicians fighting robots who hang out with Pokemon.

But hey that's just me, there are other good pvp games out and as I said this one just isn't my style.

I'll definitely be playing. If you want to avoid the kids (like I do), just find a decent guild with an age requirement. Once I got involved in the guild, it was a lot more fun, because maturity was a factor.

In the last Chip War, about 10 of us from our guild single-handedly killed anywhere from 75-100 Bellato and Accretians. Because we were organized and knew what we were doing. The game has a lot of potential.

Also, to all those concered about the chat system. In one of the posts by a Dev, they mentioned that they are completely changing the chat system for retail, which should be awesome.

This games not going to be for everyone but, that can be said for any game.  I myself enjoyed the BETA and am looking forward to getting started again in retail.  I'm also like how our community is shaping up on these forums.  I'm looking forward to seeing alot of people in game.  image

bearing in mind that AO has been out for 3-4 yrs already, they've managed to iron issues out. AO is good, and certainly has that Sci-Fi thinking/logic about it, but RF is an amalgamation of both Sci-Fi and Fantasy, so sits in 2 ball parks :)

They should pay ME to play this steaming pile of crap.

There are totally free games (i.e. Flyff) that are just as good if not better than RFO.

I am still siting on the fence about this game, I had heard lots of bad reviews by beta's, then a week or so later when people started reaching the job stage reviews got better, people started talking about what was truelly in the game.

I really need to trial the game, but for that Codemaster HAS to have a trial system with release. Because I do not see this game being released in retail in Australia.
