General: Colonies Online: Crafting Added in Latest Update

Two-man development team, Ironbit, has sent word that the latest update has been applied to Colonies Online, its MMO set in the far space-faring future. Most notably, weapon and armor crafting has been added as well as the Bonification system (a process of improving items).

Bonification (French: ‘bonification’) – process of improving something, adding additional value. With the release of this update, by using the new construction named “Bonification Station”, players are now able to add nice bonuses to their equipment – both to purchased and crafted items.

Using bonification randomly adds from 1 to 3 additional bonuses to the chosen item. Remember, you can only bonificate the items that weren’t improved before!

Also you can find Bonicores at Outpost Delta – devices that can improve the parameters of each of the bonuses that can be added to an item by the bonification station.

The minimum essential requirements for the bonification to work are: the item that you want to improve, and also the spare parts – you can purchase them at the Outpost Delta, or find them by fighting monsters. Spare parts differ by quality – the better they are, the less you will need to successfully run the bonification.

Players can get into the game immediately via Early Access on the Colonies Online Steam page.

Ive been reading this site for years.  I'm done.  The quality of the coverage of the titles you guys put up here has steadily declined over the last 2-3 years.  This article should talk about the game having a shop to buy weapons and armor that will enable you to one shot people who don't.  Do you guys even look at these games anymore, or just cash the checks?

I just cant trust what I read on your site anymore.  I wish TotalBiscuit reviewed every game.  He is usually pretty whiny about stuff but at least I know its genuine and an informed opinion.

You have officially lost a reader.  And as someone who reads most every article on the site and a lot of the forum posts, you just lost a lot of add views.

So long and thanks for all the fish....

Yes, you've contributed very much yourself :')...

Looks like a neat game, hope i'm included. That's way too early build for paying for EA.

Sway all day, butterfly flaps all the way!

Really low steam reviews, buyer beware.

    Waiting for:

    Albion Online

Someone doesn't realize this isn't a review or even an editorial. More than likely this was just a press release written by the devs. That's kinda how this goes, every business does it.

Not everything is an opinion piece.

Thank you. This was not in any way intended as an endorsement or a critique, simply news about a game update.
