Elder Scrolls Online: The Daily Quest - Console Elder Scrolls Online?

BillMurphyBillMurphy Former Managing EditorMember LegendaryPosts: 4,565

Today's Daily Quest is a simple one folks... are you planning on playing Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox One or PS4? Sound off in the comments!

For my own personal standpoint: yes, I will be. I'm reviewing the edition for MMORPG, though so I kind of have to. If I wasn't getting a free review copy, I'm not sure I would be. I'm investing in my Dragon Knight on the PC, and my guild. I'm looking at this new console version as a way to try out the Redguard side of things.  If the gameplay on PS4 impresses me, that'll just be icing on the cake.

How about you?

    Yes sir.

The main reason im moving to the PS4 version is the controls. Xpadder didn't cut it on PC, it did everything but not very effectively (jack of all trades, master of none). I prefer native gamepad support for action/adventure games. My download is almost ready for whenever the servers go up, i hope it happens tonight at midnight Eastern Time :p

I plan on getting the Xbox One version.  I played ESO several months ago on PC, enjoyed it, but then decided to wait until the console release to come back when all the features would be added.

My biggest upcoming problem is a good one and one new to consoles....trying to balance my time between ESO and NeverWinter.

na, I use my PS4 for single player games. Mainly because my family uses the television. I dont have to worry about screwing my families night over because the queue for cyradill just hit after waiting a half hour.

I also like that my PC isnt network locked on speed like a ps4 is, and I like my keyboard and my DXracer Max and desk.

I do love the PS4, but I usually use that for downtime when im not on a pc, to sit on the couch when my wife and kids are asleep and play something a little more immersive.

PC will still be my main, but yes, I took advantage of the $20 PS4 deal with character copy. Preloading it right now

If I had a next gen console I would give it the thought. Seems like a totally different experience. Just don't think I could leave PC or split between the two.

Purchased on PC at launch and have checked back in since the free to play launch.  The game just doesn't hold my interest so no to PS4.

Play on what amounts to an outdated PC stretched to its limits you say? I'll pass.

TESO's performance is terrible with my PC. I am not upgrading my PC, so my only chance to play TESO is with my PS4.

Already downloaded and logged in to check everythin is fine.

I jumped on the PS4 account copy immediately, $20 felt like a steal and I have some friends that only console game. I downloaded and got to play a bit last night. Everything seems good, I don't mind the UI, the world looks good. Just everything looks and feel better on the pc. I'm more of a K/M player, the controller just felt so foreign to me. Going to give it some time.

PC, because it is the best.

Don't understand people that would give up mouse/keyboard play for an inept controller.
