You mean like we needed an Elder Scrolls MMO? Go away.

I can appreciate the concept and points made in the article but I'm too jaded to have any faith that the product would turn out true-to-spirit.

Fallen Earth is already available, F2P, and not half bad to be honest.  There is a Mad Max game coming out next year?

But most of all, the Care Bears will get a hold of a Fallout MMO and the game will turn to crap, like every game they touch.

Played: E&B, SWG, Eve, WoW, COH, WAR, POTBS, AOC, LOTRO, AUTO.A, AO, FE, TR, WWII, MWO, TSW, SWTOR, GW2, NWO, WoP, RUST, LIF, SOA, MORTAL, DFUW, AA, TF, PFO, ALBO, and many many others....

    5) Bethesda

Perfect list. Fallen Earth and Hellgate had so much promise. I wish some company would grad them up.

No way.  Bethesda has proved they are not ready to make MMOs yet.

i think it would be pretty cool.. i'm sick to death of fantasy mmo's but that seems to be the only thing devs want to make =/

but then it would probably be a shooter like game and those i dont enjoy either..

I had fun once, it was terrible.

I played ESO eight months straight and enjoyed it probably more than it deserves and that might be because I don't really care about the Elder Scrolls IP. I do care about Fallout though and would hate to see it done badly.  Reading through these comments, I see that a lot of people have as little faith as I do of it being done right.

I'm just glad that Bethesda stopped Interplay from making a Fallout Online abomination.

Maybe in twenty years, as there is still a ton of lore to fill in, so many places that haven't been visited. If it ever is done I'd want it to be huge, like at least the entire North America huge. That way player run factions could carve territories out for themselves rather than everyone being crowded into the same territory running the same quests as every other 'lone wanderer'.

Theres plenty of post-apocolyptic MMOs out there.....I'd just as soon keep the Fallout series as single player.

If Fallen Earth was Re-Launched with updated graphics for 2015 i honestly believe it would be a massive success

There is one. Its done in fallout 2. Style.
  • RathlonRathlon Member UncommonPosts: 6

    I agree with this 100%

I mean The Elder Scrolls series already has a MMO so why not Fallout?

There are more than 5 reasons for one.

Let single player game be single player game.

I bet there were ar list "why we need Starwars - kor online game"... and "Why we need Elder scrolls online game" And we all know how "good" they were.

So please stop making dumn lists.

Quality of OP posts that are endorsed on this site has really dropped in the last year. We do not need another lazy top 5 post in the mad dash for ad revenue.

We dont need a fallout mmo..

Rather 10 more fo and tes single player games than one mmo....they are GOOD sp games - and much cheaper / faster to make

After what they did to elder scrolls I hope and pray that this never happens.

We need a good open world apoc MMO, not necessarily Fallout. Fallen Earth done right with better combat and movement animations. I think it's been proven countless times that converting an existing IP into a MMO does not work. Let's be innovative and create something new.
  • shiroineko9shiroineko9 Member UncommonPosts: 2
nope we dont need a fallout mmo, just keep it as a single player game

Given today's audience of players hell bent on soloing to cap and then wanting even more solo content, why even bother with a FO MMO? May as well forget all the hassles involved with creating a decent MMO and just concentrate on making a very good single player game and then maybe add some multi player as an afterthought.

I don't know why anyone makes MMO's any more, when nobody wants to socialise or group up there seems little point.

I agree,i guess the obvious is that tagging your game  as a MMO,just allows a developer the chance to add more profits after the initial sale that a single player game would not, aside from the modern DLC ideas.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    We got Fallen Earth.

I'm not saying it's perfect or for everyone, but it got a lot of what people often call for:

    - a huge open world

    - free to play with a fair cash shop

    - complex and deep crafting system

    - complex character progression system

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

One more for Fallen Earth.  Revamp the game with new models and updated graphics, a few tweaks to other systems and a bit of TLC will give you a great game.

yeah the great thing about fallout is that you are a single hero (or not) doing your thing in a post apocalyptic universe where there is no rules or boundaries. Now if you would try thounsands of people around doing the same stuff as you are ...well there goes the fallout experience.

This game is one of those games that MMO is a big NO THANK YOU!!!!

Even Co-OP i would say yeah ...i will pass ...after Assassins Creed Unity and ubifail screw it up ...i fear Bethesda might go same way ..so please dont ...

And saying that today the list of MMO all of them comes from established franchises and then goes with :

WOW and Final Fantasy and list goes on and on???

First off the only game with sucess is WOW. Final fantasy is not doing bad but calling it a sucess is ludicrous and btw the list finishes there...

I believe in this case the part where you say We want something ..unless you are suffering from multiple personalities is not we but I.
