I just hope it's more like NV than FO3.

Level 46, 86 hours in and I am still not halfway thru the main quest line. I took on the DLC's starting at level ten and they give about 5-7 levels for each one and then there is all the side quests I come across while exploring. I took the explorer perk and I still have only about half the locations discovered. I just hope that the map size would be larger with more to do.

My only complaint about FONV besides the glitches (most fixed with unofficial patches) is that I want a crafting system that actually gives things that are needed and useful. Making a doctors bag or repair kit is fine, maybe a stem or healing powder once in a while, but give us the chance to make weapons or upgrades to weapons. FO3 had that and some were decent, others were crap compared to guns, but the option was there. Would be nice to be able to collect parts and assemble a gun that can only be had at later levels unless it is crafted. Better yet, being able to disassemble guns and use the parts in conjunction with other things to make a new weapon.

Technically speaking Fallout New Vegas wasnt created by Bethesda. It was published by Bethesda but it was developed by Obsidian Entertainmment. The same people who made games like KOTOR2, NWN2, and South Park: The Stick of Truth.

"Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But many of us have chosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future, then what sort of future is it, and what will we have become? There is no future for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped with blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"

If you listen to the 'cast you'll find out only one of the two has played a Fallout game and that was New Vegas. Neither one of them know who Dogmeat is. Especially not his history. They think he's just a dog with a weird name.

Talk for the sake of talk. Bethesda games have never disappointed their fans. Don't see how they could mess this up, so long as they take a few evolving steps, or don't release an extremely bugged product.

Seriously, Beth games have always been the buggiest. I still remember the probs I had with daggerfall, ones that prevented me from finishing the main quest series.... But....I still had tons of fun

Most will probably be too busy making comparisons to The Witcher 3 to give the game much of a chance.

Meh, games made by Bethesda Softworks are bad in my opinion. Everyone raves about them but after playing Skyrim vanilla, I realized something: They are lazy developers. They release buggy-ass products and rely on modders to fix issues. I refuse to support developers like that, but you guys enjoy!
