Experience buff with expansion

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hello everyone,

 

I'm trying to search through what media I can find but it's difficult to narrow down or search places like google for a question like this..

 

You know how when we hit level 50 with a combat class you start to get a permanent experience buff for your other war/magic jobs? Once the expansion comes out will that be nullified because you're no longer at "level cap" or is it simply going to be a continued reward for those that hit it. Any clues? I'd appreciate it, thanks!

    I have no idea, I haven't read anything on this from their many updates.

    By the way I am not sure how exactly the bonus experience works but it works always when there is a difference between your current job and your highest level job. So even if you are level 40 only, you would still get a substantial buff to all other jobs below level 40. I think the amount of bonus experience depends on the the level difference. So in theory it should stay similar.

    I know that I got bonus experience even when my highest job was level 15-20, so all my jobs below that got some bonus. Basically it's not flat out a level 50 thing. Now whether you get a bonus for being 50, I have no idea.

    • Armory Bonus (All combat classes lower-level than your highest level combat class will have a +50% EXP buff towards applicable activities)
