Fortnite: New Gameplay Trailer & Alpha Invites

The Fortnite team has sent out a new trailer and word that a new alpha phase will be beginning soon with invites already sent to those who have signed up for testing.

The alpha will run from June 30th to July 21st. Check out the Fortnite blog for more information.

    Looks like a game where you could have a lot of laughs and fun. Might have to check this one out.

    I might have a few invites.

    I'm moreso a PvP player but this game has a special place in my heart
    The devs are so passionate
    And the build is so solid I actually had problems with finding bugs <img class=" src="http://files.shroomery.org/smileys/lol.gif" title=":lol:" />

    Build huge ass forts on the fly, craft weapons, find weapons, destroy EVERYTHING
    The world basically creates itself right infront of your eyes
    Fend off the monsters and open the gates!

    The amount of resources you can find is nifty, especially the mushrooms (i'm an avid mycologist, hehe)


    They focus on fun and that's what we seek in games, no?

    I don't like either game but fortnite is BAWS

     

    This won't be in this build though and I think it will be player competition / minigames / challenges not PKing (would not suit the game, IMO)

    Hadn't heard of the game before now.  Signed up for the beta, looks like a lot of fun :)

    Signed up to test this game a long time ago. Have a feeling I will be left out yet again haha.

    Signed up when the sign ups first came to be, both the original and after they redid the login/site again.   Alas, no invite for poor ol' me. :(

    Man i haven't checked out Epic games in forever,i definitely have a lot of faith in them.I have not ever heard of this guy though,Epic i am sure hires only top quality people.Not sure i could handle this type of game and graphics though,i need something a tad more serious.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    This looks like a ton of fun! No invite unfortunately, but hopefully the game will be awesome when I do get in.

    Will there be any pvp? I couldn't found any information about that.
     
    @ now i see screen' kenpokiller, i see that there will be some kind of PvP, the question is how it will looks like.
