Prosaically named the PC Stick, Archos' version has one major advantage over the current competition: price. While the Windows version of Intel's Compute Stick runs $149, and the Ideacentre Stick 300 will retail at $129, the PC Stick is priced at $99. Spec-wise, it's similar to those models, coming with an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard flash storage, and built-in Wi-Fi. Whereas the Lenovo will come with either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, Archos says the PC Stick will ship only with the newest version of Windows

So you just plug it into your tv.  And you can plug into it with a wired keyboard and mouse or go with wireless.  Is that about right?  Crazy.

Technology is snowballing. It's quite amazing to me as an older person seeing all the changes that have take place over the past 50 years. My Grandkids are in for something awesome if we don't blow up the world.

Kinda like the Android mini PCs, but with a Windows OS. If it streams well and doesn't choke on media rich webpages, they have a winner there.

Linux, USB OTG ethernet, and that puppy is a low power consumption server, run headless.

I wonder how hot it gets?  :-)

EDIT: Do you think we should tell them it looks like a stick of deodorant?  *grin*

I just reflect back to what I had when I was young.  It is crazy the  options we have now.    This certainly does not look like a good old desktop replacement but eventually...

edit:  when I was young it was the '80's.  My idea of internet was calling long distance to a BBS.

Remember when an IBM Aptiva (the first black desktop I can remember in the mid 90s) started at like $4k lol.  Crazy how things change.
