Still curious. Is it all solo? How is PvP?

Clearly this game is really popular right now, and I'm lacking an MMO right now.  But I've stayed away from this game because I've heard that it is mostly solo throughout the whole game. Is that true?  I've also heard that PvP is lacking.  Any input?  I don't enjoy soloing and I tend to be more PvP focused, so any info on how the game works in those regards would help me make a decision to go for it or not.

Also, can PS4 players and PC players play together? Or are consoles and PC users separated by server?

There are a few quests you have to do solo, but its only a few.

    Together with others you can:

    • Quest
    • Grind
    • Do public dungeons
    • Do group dungeons
    • Do delves
    • Do dolmens
    • Kill world bosses
    • PvP
Phasing were once a problem when questing together, its not anymore.

PvP is very nice, there are keeps and  people can use siege weapons. Its always awesome to see a ton of balistas hammering on a wall while 30 people are standing ready to rush inside to kill everything when the wall falls apart.

There are a lot of huge battles going back and  forth between keeps as each alliance pushes each other back. its quite epic.

You can also run off with a small group and do some small scale pvp.

You can do dungeons and participate in pvp from lvl 10.

10-50 you will be in the scrub bracket and you will probably have a good time because the people you fight wont have the best gear and all their abilities and so on. When you enter you hp, magicka and stamina will be scaled to lvl 50 to put you on a more equal footing with everybody else.

When you get to the veteran rank campaigns you will get killed in seconds A LOT untill you get vr14 yourself and get good gear. They said yesterday on a stream that they have some things planned to address this in the future.

But well the game is really awesome atm and with the huge surge of new players the console release have provided, there are a lot of people to play with.

You should try it out. When you get into a huge pvp battle with sieges all over the place, you will be hooked.

Elder Scrolls PC is now  just the PTS for the console version.

Just heard their planning on raising vr levels to vr16 and reduce vamp fire damage to 25%.

Thanks for the replies!  My other concern is if my laptop can handle it.

    Here are my specs:

    Intel Core i7 CPU @ 2.20Ghz

    16GB RAM

    AMD Radeon HD 7500M/7600M @ 1GB I believe.

I usually run fine with other games but I've heard this one is a bit graphics heavy.  Will my PC run it ok without too much trouble?

Yes it still runs like a solo game unless you do a group dungeon. PvP is fun but no harsh death penalty so tis ok.
