I need a new game

OK, I'm really into the whole MMO scene at the minute, but I have got a really busy life at the moment, with my girlfreind, 6th form and loads of other things and this is making it really hard for me to make time for games. I also realise that some loser will probably say something along the lines of "OMG!! U SHUD MAKE TIM 4 GAMZ!!! GAMZ RULE!!!!" to this I say in advance simply get a life. The thing is I want to play a new game, as WoW isn't really for a game that I have been able to get into as I need more free time so that I don't get a backlog of quests and have equipment levels and levels below everyone else due to the double experience thing.

Guild wars I played for a very short while until I got bored of having to rely on other players to get through a quest, only to find that they "have to go 'cos tea is ready" or something of the sort.

EVE was good, and I played the free trial from this site. I enjoyed the idea behind that, with the no levels, and a free expansion system, although it got boring from having to wait around to travel across space for 30 minutes at a time, and having to wait like 2 weeks to level up a skill.

If anyone knows of an MMO out there which you think i might like, feel free to post it here

    As far as a game, I'm not sure about any MMO's that fit your description. WoW and GW are about as casual as MMO's/D2 Clones come nowadays.

    I know guildwars and WoW are as casual as you can get, but to be honest, I think guild wars is rather poorly made, and WoW just lost it's depth for me. Also the community for both games makes me justy want to go nerd bashing. It's not the fact that im a casual gamer that I diddnt like these, I just thought I better put that in as it is quite important when choosing a game to now that.

    Of all the games I've played, Rubies of Eventide had the best community of any of them. Now, the graphics are mediocre, and the combat system is sub-par, but the community kept me around for quite a while, and it's free.

    I wasn't aware of the fact that the graphics in Rubies are subpar, I think they're quite nice actually.
    Some people like the semi-turn based combat of Rubies, some don't.
    Rubies has an amazing community, check the forums, check the IRC channel, everyone's nice. However, you can't actually create a new account right now as there is some game restructuring going on right now.

    As for casual games, I'd go with NeoCron or PlanetSide, yes, they are MMOFPSes. But they can both be played casually, and are both a lot of fun.
