Looking for game like FlyFF (grindy MMORPG)
I'm in search of a game similar to an already existing old game called FlyFF.
The game is a hardcore grind-fest at mid-game and beyond but I love it.
It has a power-levelling system. While the grind is difficult alone, you receive exp. bonusses for levelling together with someone who is a lot lower levelled than you which I find pretty fun. You can be levelled up by someone up to 20 levels higher than you so you receive incredible exp. and level quickly and it grants the person levelling you more exp. per kill. I'm tired of questing in every MMORPG I play and having spent so many hours levelling alts in WoW going through all those quests, I honestly could never face another quest-grind again. I'm really in the mood for some good old fashioned mob-grinding for levels.
Another thing is the ability to personalise your Stats. Every level you get Stat Points and you can allocate them on your own without the game doing it for you. This is nice but not necessary.
I guess one of the main things is, I want combat to be auto-attack based with very little action bar usage for skills. As opposed to lots of button-mashing or repetitively using skills during levelling I just want to have a class where I can just auto-attack each monster and maybe have some skills I use every now and then.
This is hard to describe but if you have played or know what the game FyFF is like you'll know exactly what I mean. The reason I'm looking for a game like this is because FlyFF is great for the nostalgia and all but it's almost too flawed and I'm wondering if there are any games out there that have exactly what I'm craving with less flaws. I'm willing to compromise on some aspects of the game as long as it has the same feel.

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
I feel you. It's so frustrating because it's exactly what I want in an MMORPG right now but in all my years of searching nothing is quite like it!
