horizons about to ship- 9/12/03

first let me say i was suprised i got into the euro beta test of this game but you know what it came to an email address i rarely use and thus only found out today when the euro server beta ended!!!
anyhow game ships in USA on the 9/12/03.
For once a mmorpg actually ships first in europe that is on the 5/12/03.Seems that the euro server is deemed more ready and atari having its network in UK is ready to ship earlier.
Best bet for anyone in europe is to buy from www.play.com
It is the cheapest i found and is free shipment.They are based in ireland i think .Cost is 15 pounds which is like 25 dollars and i think international shipment is free .EB USA says 50 dollars so this is about half the cost and considering it is getting released first in europe you will be recieving it in USA/canada just a day or 2 after the USA launch.
Note i could not find anywhere talking about compatibility but since its not stated i assume its like SWG where usa and euro servers are playable by all.

The latest word is that the game ships on 12-05-03 in Europe and 12-09-03 in the U.S. As far as I know nothing has changed since these dates.

Atari learnt something from shadowbane and SWG.Bad news travels fast.
Releasing the game same time as USA is a great move because many will rush it even if its terrible.
Also pcgamer has given it an ok mark which means a favourable market for europe.
Never expected the game to come out first in europe even though atari said they were aiming for a very close release date with USA(thought like AC2 maybe europe will be 2 weeks behind).
