Do you play with GENERAL CHAT turned off?

I've enjoyed WoW so much more since I've turned off the GENERAL CHAT window. I'm curious how many of you are doing the same?

    I've never removed General Chat, however I don't usually pay much attention to it in the large cities. My main server, Azgalor, doesn't seem to be plagued by the 'immature kiddies' I keep hearing about.

    I dont play with it turned off but I dont really look at it either. To be honest I have caught the end of a argument or someone taking a stab at someone else over general chat and just dispair. thinking about it I think i will turn it off when I next log in!

    Shattered hand server here - i have it turned off, mostly just complete idiots talking about nothing but stupid crap - mostly noob kids IMO. i have guild chat and trade open.

    I keep mine on, but I play on an RP server. I can see why someone would on a PVE or PVP server though, as I have tried them out and couldn't deal with the immaturity.

    I considered turning it off, but there is still a useful bit of information that filters through the channel, such as NPC locations, Quest/Story Line info, etc.  You are right in that most of it is useless.  It's one of those things that I can live without, but I still leave it on.
