Black Desert: Amsterdam Office Opens - Release Info Soon?

With Daum opening a new office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, it is perhaps a harbinger of good news for fans waiting for Black Desert Online and it's European and North American release. Additionally, the news virtually confirms that Daum will be the western publisher of BDO.

    Wish they would open a complete english website for their webtoon and manhwa.

    Ah I told  a dear friend who is looking forward to BD that they are opening an office in Amsterdam.

    Thing is she lives in Rotterdam and there is a certain competition between the two cities so..

    "l rather kill myself then goto amsterdam"

     

    Hahaha I love my crazy dutchies.

     

    On topic: Good news, this should speed things up a lot

    Wake up. Check News on MMORPG for anything new about Black Desert, Lineage Eternal, Lost Ark, and EverQuest Next.

    Gets on with life.

    I think all the people expecting BD to be this massive sandpark MMORPG are going to be severely bummed. It's way more themepark thank anything, also I think a lot of people are only paying attention to the graphics vs. the gameplay...

    Only the community can make this game good, I've played in both the KR and JPN versions of this game, and they are becoming themeparks and very close to a mobile game where you never have to interact with anyone. However the RU version because of the way the community voted has Open world PVP, less harsh karma penalties for PK'ing, and economy changes that make the game better. With the publishers allowing us to vote on the features and rules we want in the game, it is really up to the NA community to make this game great.

    I've been there and yeah that is the only reason to open an office there. It's not a great city for anything but THAT.

    I just hope I am not kicked in the nuts like I was with Archeage, what a shite game that turned out to be.

    Hope Daum understands Europe and North American is not Korea and doesnt treat us in the same way, might be the prettiest game around currently, but if the mechanics are not in place for western players it will fail right after release.
