You know about that awesomesauce Stealth class you wanted to play? Yep, that was hit with the sledgehammer nerfs due to unfairness.
Ugh..it's the reason i avoid Stealth classes in games now. It's just a matter of time before they take away the fun aspect.
true that.. but that's probably because they insist on every class to be able to do the same thing with different tools.

I think this should be quite possible but for some reason, (probably graphics) it may take some time before we see it.
Might also take some changing attitude on the combat focused MMO, which seem to be the status quo.

Horizontal Endgame Progression (this is easy to do, but no-one seems willing)
Recreation of historical battles
On the last point, imagine a game that was set, for example, during the American war of independence. Then imagine that, as a special ingame event, they decided to re-create some key battles. Have like 20,000 players on each side, lined up in the same / similar way to real life, then essentially firing a starting gun and letting us have it out! Just absolutely epic pvp battles.
