ive been playing rf online for like 2 weeks now im lvl 21, and i like it, but i was wondering if its gonna be like wow and cost monthly, does anybody know?

just wondering how much you know about MMOs... but to answer your question, it will be just like 99% of all MMOs and cost you money. Companies dont pay money to make games and not make anything back
it will NOT be free, i'm still in the beta, and i've done 3 surveys now, including a payment method survey, besides, the website clearly sais (in the FAQ) that it will require a monthly fee in order to play.

the only free MMORPG i know of is Guild Wars.

FeyRegy .. Guild wars is free to play, the only "loss" you'll be having is the price for the retail box (around 35 euros atm here in belgium), there are no other costs afterwards, including no monthly fee or whatsoever

i played rf, i thought it was good until near the end, and when the servers went down for 3 days i realised how bad it was compared to other mmorpgs. i prefere Guildwars, even though u have to load each part of the giant map up
Damn I sure hope its not 18... even sony isnt charging that much hell you can play all what is it 5 or 6 SOE MMOs for 21.
I never tried RF but is it any good? I keep hearing its good and its bad. I would like to hear from someone who liked it and tell me what is good and bad. I never trust people that much who just say the flatout hate a game. Not that it can't happen
i thought the game was good, it just needed a fix on the quests, cause you usually would get like 4 quests all the time, until you reach lvl 20 its hard to get quests, and all the quests get pretty boring cause all you do is kill a x ammount of monsters then you get xp, cash, items. id give the game like a 7/10 i think it should be a ffree to play game though, or at least a cheaper monthly price like around $8.
