Hey guys just wondering if their are any MMO's that have a teleport class, i dont mean like wow making portals etc, i mean being able to use them in combat. Think it would be really cool, thanks again and happy gaming!

the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
FFXI has the best class system period,of any game.
BLM can warp while in battle or with warp 2 can warp a group member and whm "white mage" can teleport to certain crystals. However the game has changed a lot over time and teleporting is not really needed that much as teleports are available all over to every class now.
People that did not play vanilla ffxi missed the boat on the best ever true mmorpg where other players really mattered, now every game is just a solo game disguised as a mmo.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Probably not what you mean but Aion's Sorcerer has a spell that allows it to teleport "x" amount of paces behind its current position. you can't spam it but it's there for use.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

All this is your opinion which isn't every body else's. IMO EQ had the best array of classes and Vanguard plus EQ2 but that's just my opinion.
Most do. In WOW Warlocks have that ability, in ESO, nightblades do, in GW2, Mesmers do...etc.

There are several characters who can teleport during combat in Marvel Heroes.

Neverwinter's Control Wizard class has a teleport as its defensive move. It's hugely important to the class, too, as if you teleport, you take zero damage from whatever was about to hit you.

OP asked for an MMO. Not a CORPG.
Maybe the OP doesn't care if Neverwinter is not follow the zerg in each map like gw2 etc. That's what most mmo's these days are anyway, 100 players balled up running around the map going from pinata to pinata. So much fun.......... :P /yawn
The Control Wizard in Neverwinter does have a really fun teleport. It works more like a dodge mechanic than a skill.
A few heroes/classes in Marvel Heroes have really fun teleport abilities.
Eq1 has quite a few classes with teleport skills, mostly defensive like shadow step that moves the caster away from a melee mob. And @dmkano: actually shadow step is not useless, when it comes as a no-cast-time effect on a weapon.
Also there are skills that move the caster (or his pet) behind a mob, so that he can attack from the back for more damage.

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
