I honestly really like the changes to the site. I've been a member since 08 and the forums have pretty much been exactly the same since then. Badges are just a fun little thing to see yourself getting occasionally. I really like the notification bar, it's nice to see when people post on things without having to consistently monitor the recently posted tab.
The changed are great. But when I got my ancient badge it made me feel split if I should be proud that I have been here for that long or sad that I actually have been.

Looks nice enough I guess, bright and clear design. What I have really wished for for 10 years though, are threaded forums.. You know not having to scroll through quotes and requotes several pages long, with uninteresting (for me) derail of the main discussion theme.

I got the ancient badge too, and remember coming to this site to just look up info about Star Wars Galaxies. I am liking the new site, I love how fast it is now and even on my tablet it runs smooth.

Funny enough that's the exakt same reason I came to this website.
And yeah, I didn't mention that I really like the new changes, it feels fresh and nice and quite clean.

These new forums aren't bad. I like the increase in response time the most. They must of gone in and really re-wrote some of those older queries/cleaned up their db along with the facelift while incorporating php. I think the styling could use a little touch up on the main forum panels, but I will get used to whatever is here.
Everything is just way too big and taking too much space. I guess because of the mobile crap.. Feels like we're being taken back to the old 15" 800x600 times.
No offense to mmorpg because change is bold, but I find the new forums, messy, harder to navigate and with less overall relevant information at a glance, and what is there is awkwardly displayed. But I'm sure it looks great on a smartphone. What used to take me one click now takes three or four, and the info I really need still isn't all in one place, the information is just spread out over so many pages. However I've found this to hold true for all sites catering to a mobile platform. The same holds true in field of application development, there was a time when being a software engineer meant something, now we have web designers with no software engineering skills making "applications". Its kind of a race to the bottom with information but I will grit my teeth and adapt.
I hate the new forums, they're so horrible to look at from a PC. It's another case of a website making changes that it didn't need, Gamespot and Gametrailers did the same thing and now they're dead. The older forums were so much nicer to read and navigate...
People do not play mmos on mobiles, we don't need a mobile focused site.

The small armarda of Arcane Legends players would beg to differ with your premise

The number one worst thing about the new forums in my opinion is in the recent posts section. You can't tell what game the "general discussion" forum is from without hovering over it and looking at the link in the lower left. It was much easier in the past when you actually knew what game was being discussed at a glance.
Edit: Whoops, you guys fixed it since yesterday. Awesome...
Built for tablets and smartphones and over connected to social media. I got an award of some sort for posting a photo (cringe). I did not hear a ping but then my sound is switched of. The hype is already not being lived up to but then it never is.
I have the small mercy of not yet being liked or disliked, but that will soon become a thing of the past.
Where are my rose tinted spectacles, as that's what we are supposed wear at times like these? As always we gamers will carry on posting regardless of the nonsense these forums will no doubt throw at us.
(sigh) I was just promoted to Uncommon.
I'd say this post represents everything wrong with mmorpgs. The complaining that goes on in every mmorpg forum is out of hand.

Always did think the mmorpg forums were older than the hills...
