2K and Gearbox have announced that multi-platform title, Battleborn, will officially launch on February 9, 2016. To celebrate the big news, the team put together a great new video to get potential players jazzed up for the release early next year. Check it out!

TF2, Overwatch, something else I saw last week that I can't remember now, and now Battleborn. They all look identical. Why are the graphics so cartoony? the gameplay could be totally awesome but yet the visuals are such a turn-off (obviously for me -- some like this) that I can't even watch the full videos.

Paladins was probably the one you're forgetting. I like team based shooters and more competition can't hurt. I'm surprised to see so many companies taking blizzard head on though, that's a tall order.

    The new cake, minionless mobas...

Square Enix started the trend with Nosgoth.
    Blizzard - Overwatch.
    Motiga - Gigantic.
    Gearbox - Battleborn.
    Hi Rez - Paladins.

Who else is joining the "me too" bandwagon?

While I've played CS since the early days, I enjoy TF2 more because of the "fun" factor. Very glad to see so many games coming that run in the same direction. While all of these share superficial similarities, they are all fairly different. Assuming many like myself have had their fill of TF2 and are looking for a bit more complexity or simply just different.

What intrigues me about Battleborn more than the others is the ongoing episodic story for 1 or more players. I can buy this, play the heck out of the Borderlands-like content, and hop into PVP when I want. Plus the cast of characters can all be leveled individually. Sounds good to me.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

I was not aware of that episodic story for 1 or more players. That definitely got my interest. I was playing Nosgoth with 3 friends and i got bored of doing the same pvp over and over in a couple of days. A small campaign (if its good) will surely retain me for a longer time in this type of games.

Gigantic is the best one imo.
