Chat box fonts too small. Need help

Just found DAOC Epic retail boxed for $19.99 and picked it up this past week and so far I am really enjoying the game.
One issue I have though is the size of the chat box font when I have the resolution in game set higher. Even with the font size set to "normal" the chat box fonts are far too small for my tired old eyes to see very well. I did find some fonts on a custom UI site but not sure how to enable them.
Anyone have a fix for this? I just want the chat box font bigger not the other parts of the UI fonts.

I think getting a custom UI is the way to go to solve your problem. The other way would be to manually edit the XML file of the Chat window that you want to be changed, but I'm not sure that would work too well. Most custom UI's allow you to pick and choose which parts of it you want active. The skins will be changed though.
