I was just banned from Irth Online forums for doubting there ever was a alienware computer to win...
Just to let you guys know:
Alienware lottery was a carrot to attract new testers with when Open beta population of the servers was at prime times around 20. But untill this day no one has been awarded any of the prizes, and those who attempts to raise discussion about it are censored harder than a muslim magazine.
Also...
Magic Hat Software stole beta tester database from Mutable realms at times of the model purchase. The owner of Mutable realm assets didn't have knoweledge about this untill it was too late. Those of us in inner circle was told to keep quiet and others were officially only told that magichat software has sent 20000 invitations to certain people.
In 2003 there was several co-owners, in 2004 there was only damian and a lawsuit case...you do the math.
Betatesters were lied to untill the end...We were promised miraclous superpatch at release...instead we got several delayed bug fixes...at that time all dev chats of beta times had been removed and forums wiped and developers denied and called people liars if they asked "Hey, what happened to *insert feature here*" and if they insisted...you know.../Soviet russia
About me:
I was keeper of irth-tavern.com and a voluenteer european channel op on the official irth channel. Personally I apologize to all of those I kicked or banned for speaking the truth.

Why even bother paying 15 dollars a month for that peice of shit mmorpg.. its a joke seriously.
lol I broke the NDA the same day I tested it to call the game an unplayable Piece of Shit. I don't think there were any surprises that this game was a pure scam.
You should also feel bad for President Nixon, he didn't mean to to have people steal those documents and then lie about it. Give Hitler a break as well since he didn't mean to kill people.
The point I am making with this? These devs blatently lied to us when we were beta testers and odds are they are lying to the new group of saps that are playing the game now so why should ANYONE cut them a break. Kishe was in the "Inner Circle" when I was a beta tester, and was a staunch defender of the game, as was I. I wish he would've (or could've) stated this stuff when he was a tester so I could've gotten those minutes of my life back so I could've done something productive instead.
On a side note: Are they really charging for this two flusher? Last I heard they were supposed to start charging in January but they never did.
Well I can believe it Kishe, as I was in beta for about 6 months too. I tried to do the quest but it never worked properly for me. I never actually complained about it because in the back of my mind I knew it probably would never materialize. The silence near the end of beta sealed the fate of this mmo for me.
I couldn't believe Alienware would promote or back Irths amaturish RPG when they are are well repected company in the gaming world. It just didn't match up. The devs are probably using that Alienware pc to play WOW or EQ2 LOL
I'm sure Darkchronic will be along shortly to waggle his fingers at you lot. I don't have a clue about them stealing databases or anything, but if they broke the law, I'm sure the other company involved will have or will be taking them to court, no? The only thing I know about the game is that I tried it in beta and I thought it was pretty dreadful. I did get the invitation out of the blue, without ever having been interested in the game and I was in the beta for Wish... that's really not proof of anything. Just sayin'....
I do wonder about that computer contest myself, and also the RYL million dollar thingy... didn't that company call off their contest, too? They both seem very shady to me... doing things to generate interest and increase sales with no intention of following through. That whole million dollar thingy seemed especially dodgy to me.
Yeah, I was sort of wondering what happened to that Alienware that there was supposedly a lotto for. I spent quite awhile plowing through the crap in that game, and waiting for them to fix broken quests, and now I guess it was all for nothing. Also, I think saying that there were twenty people on primetime is a stretch, I saw two people the entire time I played >.>
And, be nice to Soviet Russia, this is more like /Nazi Germany
and to add more dirt in the pile:
- This game has never had official QA team...QA was done by bunch of selected players with very strict extra NDA and even them rarely got heard by the devs.
- Majority of the REAL developers has left this "sinking ship" and what is left of the game is held together by only a handful that is left.
