Good to know. Seems like some good changes are coming to the game. But then again, over the years they brought in many systems in game that they later discarded when a new expansion came. Farm in pandaria, garrison and followers in outland are good examples. They need to do something to tie up all the system so that no matter which expansion is it they always remain relevant.

Well then, looks like the same old rehash of content for an expansion. Demon Hunter- not really interested in this class so won't say much as I am sure some people are pumped up about them. New Wardrobe- well as it may be new to WOW it isn't new to the MMO world not surprised. Multi-strike getting the boot sure why not. They have removed so much not surprised but I believe that most people wanted "Versatility" removed instead? Major Pet battle update- how am I not surprised here..... Adventure mode? okay slightly interested. Entire team working on crafting-They screwed up crafting so bad in WOD they need 2 entire teams working on fixing, and not dropping the 3 piece requirement is a joke IMO. Crafting items destroyed for a material??? oh that's new and Paradigm shifting LOL. Oh and last but not the least Dungeons will matter more than before? Really I am from Missouri Show me first. For me I will wait until it releases before I send any cash their way, but I have this odd feeling that WOD was my last expansion and that my money will stay in the BANK!

And i have this odd feeling that you and many other like you would still buy Legion and constantly complain about it in mmo forums. face it, WoW has become your life, you can't get away so easily from it. And that is why we will see WoW for another 5 years without adding something really unique to the game but still making more money than any other mmo with better feature.

You may be right, I did say that if they surprise me I would go back....doubtful as of now but hey anything is possible.  Definitely no preorder coming from this guy!

It's showing it's age at this point. And Obliterum really? Cmon now. It's getting ridiculous. One of the major reasons I won't return is Blizzard is treating the BM Hunters same way that Arenanet has been treating their Engineers. Crappy. They don't need a new class to fill the tank role.

    Changes, changes, changes. Yawn.

"The more they change the game, the more it stays the same". Give it 6 month and most points from the list will be changed into oblivion again.

If Blizzard is consistent in one thing, it is that they are inconsistent about everything.

Multistrike? You forgot Versatility, and bonus Armor too for stupid stats Blizzard... Amazing how they realize how dungeons are a good thing finally after people saying so for so long... Not that it matters, I don't remotely trust them after WoD and the greedy crash grab that was taking more money for vastly less content and expecting people to pick up another expansion after that trusting them.

Well, concerning demon hunters starting at *98*, that does it for me. I quit wow 5 months ago, mostly due to pvp issues and the horrendous boredom of levelling alts. I will not be buying the expansion, as I was looking forward to running through old content with the DEMON HUNTER, but starting at *98* is the final nail in the coffin for me ;( MOP was a bad joke, WOD started out well, but got boring very quickly. I started playing WOW back in 2004, time to walk away for good and start praying there is a new MMORPG on the horizon that can fill the hole. I would say that my best times in WOW were 2005-2012. The dumbing down of the skill system started the *I quit* ball rolling and I am now finally done with the game.

@Nokksonwood -- How is the DH starting at 98 any different than Death Knights starting at 55 prior to Lich? By the time they finished their starter zone, DKs were ready for Northrend. It's much the same with DH. They start at 98, do their intro zone and are either at 100 or very close so they can start the Legion content. Heroic classes are designed this way, not to be a level 1 up class.

DK still had to go through BC content (58-68~) so there's actually a pretty big difference between the two heroic starter points. Which means people will get tired of the game as usual after 1-2 months. This expansion is already off to a bad start.

What else will there be to do when this comes out? Any new games going to be out? Right. Now just pay the 50 bucks and enjoy doing "  something " . We can sit here and splash water at each other but in the end we all are in the same pool.

And it was stupid lore wise, i mean we start at wrath time line and then go back in time to outland timeline, complete that and then return to current timeline? it was stupid and blizzard decided not to do it again with DH.

I have wanted to play the Demon-Hunter archetype/ class since the beginning of the game. Asked for it over the years. Sadly, too little, too late. Blizzard had my hopes up with "Project Titan" and then after years, said they "couldn't find the fun in it". Well that is exactly how I feel about WoW now. Not worth my time if I can not find the fun in it. The last 3 xpacs have been a combination of "What has the fans been asking for?" and "What have we done already?". I would rather reinvest my funds to 6 different mmo's in development and see which pans out then continue to support this game.

Not at all, to me looks fresh as ever was. Just hope more questing content than Wod. I doubted will ever have 22 alts (11+11) ever again after I quit after barely 1 month into Wod. But now have returned and already have full set of 11 alts maxed out - alliance side. But .... this mean I got 11 alts (+2 on horde side) maxed out in LESS then 3 months. With ANY previous expansion I have spent purely questing to achive this about 8 months. This says all how short Wod is, they have just tripled leveling by approx 3 to compensate for lack of questing. Despite all and short content Wod was buggy and full of problems like not all other expansions put together (I have not been present at start of original WoW). About 5man ... I will do them for leveling few my horde alts, I always level all my alliance and approx half of horde with pure questing. All in all Legion looks great ... but so looked great Wod before players were able to play it. Time will show. Now anyway will be busy for good half year with Swtor and new expansion which is my current game no.1, then maybe Gw2 ... then hope Legion will come out.

    What was the Adventure Mode?

How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike?

I got a case of beer and a chainsaw waiting for me at home after work.

No need to concern yourself, it will be something that will be obsolete once the next expansion after Legion comes. It is same with every expansion, some new system comes and then it becomes obsolete when next expansion comes. so no nee to get your hopes up with something like this.

DH starting at 98 is a sad decision, as you miss out on playing through a ton of content. But it also reflects Blizzard's ever growing lazyness, because skipping 98 level of any class spares them the hassle to work out a proper class development and progression path over the levels. Ah, yes...it wouldn't fit the lore i guess -ha ha ha

It's nothing but lame to release an addon one year and a new class the other year and then make both never hit each other, but that way at least you won't have to work yourself up to the anticlimax of WoD that are garrisons again.
They should delete everything pre MoP already and slim it down to a lobby based streaming client, so they can start to transfer the game to mobile devices. But make sure it runs on 15yr old phones.

DK started at 55 > 58 in the dk starter zone , after that u had to travel to Outlands , it sucked but kinda made sense , 12 levels that go fast to learn how to play your 2 specs , then u hit woltk and then were doing current content ... those 12 leveles helped a lot.

DH will need to learn in 2 levels (starter zone) how to tank or dps before jumping to current content....if u think dk tanks were bad...wait for DH ;)

the game tells you what buttons to press these days so that probably wont be an issue. just press wichever ability is glowing and you'll be good to go. only thing they may have to concern themselves with is positioning and that's something all the tanks will have to deal with in new content.

I had fun once, it was terrible.

"dungeons will be more relevant than ever before" Oh good! Because WOD was NEVER about dungeons and raiding......./sarcasm This already scares me. WOD was WAY too much about dungeons and raids and not enough world events, or events in general. Hell Rift did better with world events than WoW did.

TBH, I didn't like the DK starting at 55, although I can understand why it was done that way. I remember when DK's first hit, the BG's were a nightmare DKFUNFEST. I have enjoyed my time with WOW, the community has not been too bad most of the time.

It is hard to let go of a game that i have been playing for over 10 years, but as all of my friends have bailed , there is no reason for me to continue. I would love to see something exciting in the next expansion, but atm it all looks a bit dull ;(

I agree @Nokksonwood -- I have no plans to start a DH any time soon. I'll wait until the furor (and the balance!) is over.
