Raids and even that raid( The only hard part is getting the people gear'd/ready for them). Very low selection of races/classes. The class balance system is #$%#. The in game world is to small. The game is so easy it attracts little kids ( like leeroy ) and screws around with people trying to play, and what happens to them? Nothing. They can wipe raids harrasse etc and nothing happens? I mean what kind of @$$# is that. Overall the game is incompleteimageimage

    Because everything you say is wrong.

    It is a content-filled bug-free game. Show me another.

    I don't like it when you say things. - A Vanguard fan who does too.

    The end game is a let down, I have had 2 seperate wow accounts over the past several months, brought a troll priest up to 60 on both of them and got bored at 60.

    Now am trying the free AO and also trying out EQ2.

    Well said, those are a lot of the reasons I played it also.

    My only complaint would be stricter enforcement of RP rules on RP servers.  Such as naming policy etc.  Other than that, I think wow is fun and easily soloable from 1 to 60 no matter what class you play.  They certainly have the 'solo' part of the game down pat.

    Now if they could just improve the things to do once you reach 60.

    I must be the only person who disliked wow I played it the first week then left it thinking why did I buy this game. I personaly don't mind how good the graphics are (I liked wow graphics.) Yet to me the game play was not as good as other games are.

                 But thats just my opinion I am sure some of you may argue that the game play is grEAT.

    WoW is a great game...if you have a social life. If you are playing the game more than you step foot outside, then, obviously you are gonna wear it out. Go out, have fun, interact with women...its really not that hard. This game isn't for the guys who dedicate their lives to it. Its for the casual gamer, like myself, who plays late at night and on the weekends sometimes. If you want something different, go get another game and don't bitch about this one in the forums.

    WoW is NOT for grinder or end game content BLIZZARD HAS ADMITTED TO THAT..its more for the aspect of a giant community where you can do basically what ever you want..you can be a big feared PVPer or maybe you can go around in the lower level areas and help lower levels out like i do when im bored..right now im burnt out because of the way people abuse some of their abilitys like fear and powerword:shield but by tommorow ill be happy to play for hours again..this isnt a game that PUSHES YOU TO GRIND GRIND GRIND sure quests are fun..but i mean after you quest and your tired..go to the local inn and just start talking..meet new people have fun..i spend a few hours a week just talking to people and having fun i wish they would add more to the friends list because im constantly deleting to add more...its more than just fighting its a MMORPG...WoW is more fun than any other MMO out there and ive played a few...its a great game for casuals and hardcore players..i found out i can make 8,000 exp per hour if i grind monstesr my level (im level 28) and thats good for me..im happy doing that and im also happy looking for groups and doing quests if i sat on my ass and grinded for hours im sure i wouldnt like it...i HATE grinding i really do...but its like life it takes time to become good..ive been playing since september and i havent reached 30 on one character..its sad that it took you 2 weeks..you MUST have grinded..which is probably why youd ont like it...and plus..if you dont like it just say you dont like it DO NOT SAY THE GAME IS CRAP..and theres my opinion

    Lifes like a million dollars

    You think its alot untill its all gone

    Pacing yourself on WOW is the way to enjoy it.

    Had WOW for nearly a year,and only have a 58 UD Rogue in a decent guild. Before that I had problems deciding upon a class to stick to. 30 shaman,20 paladin,16 hunter,16 mage.......

    I love the rogue character in this game,and how it plays its part. It really feels like a 'rogue' character. Too bad rogues are bottom of the food chain at moment,but WOW doesn't revolve around one class and rogues are excellent in combat groups. Stealth in,stun opponent,while your warrior snags that flag/base/AV ram.

    Having said that,I (and many others) dispise the whole honour grinding system,it only rewards players with real commitment to the game,and seeing as this is the whole 'reward' for PvP'ing in the 'battlegrounds' where 'PvP' takes place on a grand scale mostly these days,it's disappointing to know you won't get past a certain rank unless you're willing to grind 24/7. No wonder EVE grabs my attention.

    Still,WOW has done one thing correct in the test of time. I won't recall another game that had the easiest to use UI for a while. 5 minutes to learn. And the 1-60 grind isn't too bad,the quests are plentiful (if not repetitive) and keeps you entertained. It's vital to get a guild later on,but that's not really a problem imo. Just stick with the first guild you get; after my first guild collapsed,I was picked up by a second guild. This guild now is close to raiding the big end-game 40-man instances,I think in March we begin our assault.

    It's worth getting now because the expansion is due,but if that expansion don't deliver seriously the other MMORPG's had better start rubbing their fingers together in glee.......WOW exiles will be plentiful. (after the PvE has expired) And I know where I'm going........into my frigate. image

    I play WoW because SOE and LA stole SWG and replaced it with the NGE.

    • Getting XP, quests, level 60 does not require skill. Skill does help;
    • WoW runs on that computer that stood in the corner, unused for 2 years;
    • WoW's graphics are attuned to the kids, and adults that don't mind comic looks;
    • WoW is aimed at the casual player;
    • WoW has bugs, but bugs the casual player doesn't get too frustrated over;
    • You can solo your way up to 60;
    • Casual players blame the lag on their own pc and/or connection;
    • New content is introduced (for which you do pay, btw.);
    • Good marketing (and timing, etc.);
    • Casual players don't get too frustrated over class balance issues;
    • The content is enough to keep casual players busy for all their playtime;
    • Their friend plays it too.

    That's why. And us diehards come along with the stream ;) (and newfound hope).

    ppl play wow because it's blizzard... yes, we accept and forgive your 10 min lag in LAGforge or LAGrimmar and your mailbox or AH lag because hey, it's blizzard...that's ok right?

    Ppl play WoW because they have alredy paid like 50€ for the game, and at least 13€ for the month woth of playing time, and they dont want it to go to waste. Or at least thats what my friend told me -.^ But trust me, i watched my friend playing it for like 7 weeks (we had a LAN party), and it really didnt look that good (actually it looked stupid, people turning to sheeps etc).

    Ill write something cool here when i have the time.

    I play World of Warcraft because it's fun. That's a good enough reason for me.

    WoW is fun. Thats the only reason why so many people play it. Content, quests, casual play, grouping, trade skills and many more aspects of WoW all add up to make one thing - FUN
    Even if a game has VERY deep questing, or combat system, or trade skills, or player run economy, or PvP or whatever but it is NOT fun, then people wont play it.

    I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.
