  If you are just looking to try it out.  Why not just wait for the actual F2P launch?  Also, if I recall Wildstar has some free trial (7 days or something) you can try right now.  Might be better to let someone who will actually help with bugs/reports and feedback go into beta.

  From what I have read there are a lot of changes in the F2P build...especially for the early game. I would rather try the new version so I would have a better feel for what the game will actually be like. Also just because I would be trying it out for the first time doesn't mean I wouldn't help with bugs/reports. I have always made an effort to provide feedback in the many MMORPGs I have alpha/beta tested over the years.
  
  EDIT: It appears the Free Trial they previously offered is no longer available now that the F2P Closed Beta is happening.

  Thanks for the heads up. I actually came upon a code a few weeks ago on Twitter. I forgot I had made this post or I would have updated it.
