I agree in principal with the op's frustration. I also agree with Maximos, some paragraphs and punctuation go a long way to making posts easy to read .
I won't say that if a game dosn't grab me in the first 10 minutes that it was a waste of money. But once you get over the learning curve of a games interface and general play, it should at least compel you to want to play it more. RF falls short in that regard.
You have to love that people that tell you that "it gets good at 30" and whatnot. Um, so your saying that, if I just invest 20-60 hours of my life into a mind numbing senseless grind, with no gratification or reward, that I will achieve gaming nirvana in the form of RvR delight? Wow, damn, I'm totally there! At least other MMOs (wow, ac, eq, sb, uo, you name it) give a little something back while you grind. Frankly the concept of the grind is one of the sad but inevitable truths of todays MMOs. Game companies seem to think that they need time sinks to keep people subscribing. Yet, look at all the Shooters out there. Dedicated followings of fanatical players that play year after year. Now level grind in CS or RvS. BF2 is one of the first shooters thats implemented something of a grind, with weapon unlocks. My point? How about an MMO that has no grind? Can it be done? Dunno, but I'd like to see someone try.
Pardon me for hijacking the thread in that last paragraph. Had to get that out. It is relevent though I think to the op's 10 min complaint. Pop in Rainbow 6: Lockdown for example and in 10 mins you are having a great time. I realize that the genres are completely different, but concider that the "good stuff" in RF is the PvP/RvR yet you have to pay CM money for the privilage of grinding to 30 to get to the creamy filling? If all you wanted was the RvR why not play a game that offers it out of the box? Why not, as a developer, offer up a game that does just that?
in ten minutes of play there is no way he could grasp anything relivant in this game. if he chose not to play based on his limited experience that is fine, i don't want him here. at that point it would be wise to pack up the game and cut your losses. he did that, then ranted about in on a public forum. when he expressed his opinion in that manor he opened himself up to hear other people opinions, which you then gave your opion about. what you are calling for is selective censorship, which defeats the whole purpose of your point, so you discust me.

Admit it, they are HORRIBLE. The PvE and PvP gameplay and pot spamming is open to interpretation, but there is NO question that the UI is terrible. Arguably THE worst UI and control scheme seen in any pay to play MMO. I know anyone who doesn't think that RFO is the second coming of Jesus must be a flaming WoW fanboy in your eyes, but that's simply not true. Their opinions are as valid as any others.
Honest to god 10 minutes thats some game stamina....besides that you came back and posted that you learned the controls and you still dont get the concept of the game....Congrats this game isnt for you click quit click uninstall click the adress bar type www.worldofwarcraft.com click go and have fun.
