WildStar is back! Well, it didn’t really go anywhere to begin with, but to say that Carbine’s freshman game was an underappreciated title would be an understatement. WildStar has always been a bit of an underdog, and today marks the relaunch of the MMO as a Free to Play game. And at least so far, the relaunch seems to be working from a hype perspective, because those megaservers have definitely been feeling the pressure. And it becomes more and more engaging as you proceed to the higher level zones.
And then,all the starter zone quests seem to make a bit more sense,in the sense (oooOooo)
that this is a new world,a new game,you get to know some general and fluffy stuff before you delve deeper into the lore.
And,uber kills.
And huge level up screens.
And hoverboards.
And reasons.
The game is fun.
When you are able to play it,that is.

and after we post?
Despite the overwhelming population crush, I only ran into one other player whilst leveling, he invited me to a party for about 5 minutes for a quest, no words other than "thanks" were exchanged.
Hopefully I can stomach this combat for however many levels are left till level cap.
