Stuck at final character creation page :(

I'm on the finalize page where you input your character name.  I hit the enter game button, and it won't do anything. once i do that it wont let me hit the enter game button again nor does it produce a queue.  it happened last night too when i tried.  

anyone else got this issue?

    Yep, been that way for a lot of people since yesterday. They said they are aware of it via twitter. Every time I forced it to close, I lost the character but when I let it sit overnight, the character appeared in my list after being disconnected. No idea how long it took to disconnect me though.

    Yeah, the game is not worth playing right now. I got in right after the last maintenance and the game had 30 second delay on all of my actions.

    But if you rather ignore the warning and try it yourself, I was able to start playing without a problem by signing in through the games launcher and not actually when the game is launched. After waiting in the hour long queue (thankfully I had something to watch, Gotham :D) I got in without a issue.
    When all is said and done, more is always said than done.

    That's why I gave up playing it too. The lag is terrible right now. I was waiting 5-10 seconds after clicking to do anything. Never seen lag that bad before.

    ok glad to know its just not my PC haha.  well i loaded this game onto my external harddrive so i thought that might have been the issue.  but i guess not! well i guess ill sit in queue, give it a whirl then if all else fails i'll come back tomorrow and try again.

    crap, this POS is doing the freeze on PVP too. welp, ill try again tomorrow.

    Day two of the same.  Feel bad for the game that the team did such a poor job of resource management.

    I know the feeling, i have been trying to create a character for the past few days. When i play another character i get laaaag.

    i made it on.  and got to level 7 and was in the area after northern wilds.  it became extremely laggy once i left northern wilds.  like 3-4 lag.
