gonewildgonewild Member UncommonPosts: 136

I guess all companies should shift to this model as all their mmo games are total disappointment.

Marvel heroes has done the start.

Here is the PAY ME TO PLAY MODEL

They understand that they dont play their sh1t game so they decided to pay players in order to play it

Yep.  Just like nobody drinks pepsi or coke, so they do the cap sweepstakes all the time to PAY PEOPLE to drink their soda.

No doubt Pepsi and Coke are on the verge of bankruptcy...

Nobody is going to play a game for the small chance of winning a prize. Besides, we all know the winner will be some dev's cousin or something.

    Right.

    Nobody.

Just like how "nobody" pays to play the lotto, right?

Man I should play the lottery tomorrow! I heard they pay you to play it!!!

P.S: Marvel Heroes is doing awesome and continues to do awesome with more content updates then any other ARPG. Don't pretend no one else plays it because you don't play it.

Thats horrid logic winning the loto is far better then winning something in a game, and most gamers I know dont even play real life lottos.

    horrible post.

its an in-game prize with real cash rewards. not a business model.

MH was an interesting game for me for about 15 hours or so. It then became just a grindfest. I am not interested in grinding in any game. Just because I get different characters with different "shiny toys" does mean that the mechanics in general are all that will keep me playing. MH, like so many other MMOs today, is boring.

I have to disagree with the content, I believe the content is quite slow and definitely isn't the most updated ARPG. Path of Exile is updated almost weekly with new stuff.

Except it has a really loyal following with a consistant 2 to 3k people online at a time. It's just a way to get people who want that kind of incentive to come try it out I guess. I don't know really. But I thought the game was kinda fun for a while. Just got a little boring like most ARPG games do.

In the last few years, the only two F2P online games i have deemed worthy of my money are Marvel Heroes and Warframe. Im currently not playing any of them for other reasons. Waiting for a PS4 port of Marvel Heroes (if it ever happens) to support them again, and not playing Warframe because i got bored without my friends.

Still today, the only two F2P games i would continue to support monetarily. Just not on PC.

If you think that's being payed to play a game, then you must not have ever had a job.
  • moonboundmoonbound Member UncommonPosts: 396
Honestly they added loads of new stuff and everyone should come check it out.

Yea I kind of agree if anything I would not care about the stash prices if everything else was a little lower, to be honest marvel heroes needs better story content and more to do then the same bosses over and over.
