Webzen has sent out the first trailer for Asta, it's forthcoming MMO inspired by Asian mythology and said to bring back some of the most loved features of classic games.

    I get more of a Blade & Soul, but darker vibe. It's nice to see Webzen capitalizing on the lack of new games coming out. Would be nice if these are worth playing. There was a time, when Webzen was a bright spot in MMOs. But then their cash shop policies got the better of them. 

    Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

    Unless they have fixed up this stillbirth game considerably (AFAIK this game didn't even made it past Beta in native country Korea before servers closing) I don't see how Webzen will have success peddling this in the West when it utterly failed in Asia.

    I remember really wanting to see this game come to NA/EU while it was being tested in Asia. Streamers who got into the beta tests there seemed to really enjoy it, it's a very colorful and vibrant world with an interesting storyline. But it is very much like World of Warcraft (I think combat may be a bit more action oriented) but overall it was positively received but it was mismanaged. Interested to see if they can do something with it here to turn it into a success story.
