me noep you? Its a beta more and a founders pack i don't need from an 3y now old game
but NCsoft need to make money so make a price tag on it and sell it yee

    Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

    Yea this one is gonna be a pass. I think we need to start making a point with these asian game developers that we are done being the red headed step child. If they can not be bothered to make a global release then we wont buy it. American developers never made the asian markets wait 3-5 years before a pacific release.  I say to hell with them, we aren't good enough for a day 1 global release then obviously our money is not good enough either.

    You do not need to buy the founders packages to get into the closed beta. they will also be giving out keys. getting a founders pack is just a garantee and its optional. so look around for when they start giving out beta keys if you do not want to spend a penny.

    That's my guess anyway why they need to do beta tests... they basically do months/years server/client rollback for us.. so you know.. they can look like they actively developing/releasing new content after the launch for the western version.

    They already stated that we will get the current content on release. For example the blade dancer is included on release which was not out at the start of the game. Beta testing is also needed to test hardware, they did mention the main purpose of the closed beta is more for server stability and to iron out any possible bugs for using said hardware or the changes to make the game more appealing to the west which can easly include a new ui ect.

    Ahem beta testing is now to used mainly to sell founders packs.  Not saying they might not fix a few things but really....how many beta have we been in that bugs that have been reported, both game breaking and not, are still there after beta if not 1 year after live...

    What actually attractive and nice looking? Not goofy, archaic, clunky and/or bubbly and goofy. Certain west games UI really irks me. I need like 2-3 addons to even begin playing WoW. Everquest2 was terrible too, not sure if they updated that yet.

    if you actually break down the packs. You'd find those are not bad deals at all. Take the 7,200 NCoin in the master pack. That alone is around 90 bucks worth right there. And then you get a 90 day membership. and tons of other stuff,. No one is forcing your hand to purchase. Sign up and try your luck with a closed beta key. You might get in. And as far as a 3 year old game goes. It still looks amazing. And the combat system is still very relevant.

    The Initiate's pack is really bad deal, though. Earlier access to the game and a title shouldn't cost that much.

    Those more expensive packs are good enough deals, but I think they're a bit too expensive unless you're already playing some NCSoft game so that you can be sure you'll end up using all that NCoin.
