The EU and NA representatives of Skyforge recently returned from a trip to the Allods Team office in Russia to discuss some of the feedback received from their respective communities during the ongoing open beta of the game. A blog post on the site uncovers some restructuring of priorities with specific regard to the North American and European communities.

Yet nothing mentioned about the craptastic grind to play another class.

That's why I'm not playing it anymore.

Most people who started are 50k plus prestige now with no new players in lower levels. It's a ghost town down there. After 35 - 40k the grind reminds me of STO. To long and to arduous with zero excitement to drive you onwards.

Too little too late, gave up on it when I tried out the event. Game was already broken as all hell, punishing playing with your friends unless you only played together. And punishing newcomers by tossing them into high prestige parties with a horrible system to "level them up" to the party's highest prestige (specially tanks suffered like no other). Stop trying to band-aid the problems with half-assed solutions and MAYBE you can get the title into gear again. Wasn't a bad premise, but the bad grind and animosity towards social gaming makes this a no-go.

class balance changes? I understand how that is needed in PVP but it is NEVER needed in PVE.I guess this bodes to the fact that it is 99% a soloing game and why they don't understand grouping mechanics and how you don't need balance as a soloist you need balance ass a group.

But i don't blame them, they won't make much money anymore on this game,so not like i would expect them to make wholesale changes to fix the game. It is what it is,either enjoy it or don't,i choose of course to not.The game needs a LOT of work to get it up to par that i would play it,like about a full year or two worth of work.

RE: the forums. Not entirely true. On in-line comments, yes. We're working on a fix with vanilla. On the forums, it's working as it should.

I was loving this game as a 3man/solo play.. then I found out you need to be in a pantheon and running 10 mans to remain competitive. Was a shame, I liked the game, but not enough to join a pantheon and run distortions. Would take a hell of lot more engaging and immersive mmo for me to make that kind of commitment. Odd too.. because I though they would be after my pocket book in this one.

I would of liked the game a lot more if it didn't try to force you to do all the content. I like games that allow me to pick what I want to do and still be viable in PvE.
