After dedicating hundreds of hours and hundreds of Dollars of my own trying to promote the game that I earnestly wanted to succeed and then being screwed over, attempted to be silenced and by the end threatened and then silenced. I feel like I have right to feel disgruntled.
I am here again as well!
Luckily, I didn't sink any money into defending this game, just lots of time. That was a very interesting read Kishe, makes me wonder what else is happening behind the walls of ALL mmoprgs.
The more I learn about this train wreck, the more I think it beats out Mourning for worst MMoRPG ever.
I honestly can't think of anything more pathetic than people taking legal action over MMORPGs....

I don't even play Irth, but every time I constently see Kishe bashing Irth here and on other sites and it is very sad. There are many games I don't like but I move on.

So, Kishe, what exactly did they do to you? I mean I know they completely hosed the game and released a boring POS, but did they do something to you personally? You said you invested money in it? Whats up?

Umm, Kishe was jerked around by these Irthlings after he spent his personal time and money to support them. So now he's speaking his mind. Where do you get off criticizing him for speaking his mind? There's about 10,000 other posts criticizing 100 other games. Why did you choose to focus in on Kishe's comments? You tell him to stop bashing Irth and to move on as if you were living on a higher moral plane. If you are truly speaking from a high moral ground, why aren't you on that Mourning thread telling everyone to shut up and to move on? They are ripping that game to shreds.
Umm, if you had the capacity to figure it out, I asked if you had something better to do than to try to shut down expression of personal opinions. NOT bashing games.

Haha awesome, I really like your point of view on this. I agree. Things could be much more simple..haha.
Should we all start a thread here to specifically say we don't like game A? Fortunately we don't all share your egotism.
At least talk about game features, concepts, implementation or something about the ACTUAL GAME. Legal matters is up to the developers/companies to deal with and simply because someone has an accusation does not mean they are right. Lastly, these legal issues have no impact on fans whatsoever and most playing the game or choosing not to play the game are due to the game itself and nothing else.
You are accountable for where you choose to spend your time and money so you have no one to blame but yourself if you feel it was a mistake.
Nobody to blame but myself and thats why I have the right to try make sure others do not do same mistake as I.
I did do long thread about the features, concept and implementation earlier...I could maybe write book about it if I'd have enough time...after all they released a game with 5% of the main features introduced as official concepts during beta and promised to fans for release.
There are many players like I who watched this game slide from very promising game in to a very poor such...this document I linked does explain parts of such transistion...hostile takeovers are known to ruin products...
It was even more interesting 6 months ago when it was released. I can understand why Kishe holds a grudge against this game, because, like almost all games, it fell short of the original vision. But, as you said, you can't blame anyone but yourself for spending money and time to set up fan sites for a game that wasn't finished. Yep, it has lots of problems, but I still play it. I enjoy the skill-based system, even though there are still balance issues. But the game is getting better all the time, and I'm still having more fun than frustration, so I still play.
And reporting one side of a legal dispute between business partners can hardly be called "cold hard facts."
