I guess they have to fill the 10 month content gap somehow. Having just two days left on my 6 month sub this is definitely not enough to make me extend it when there are plenty other alternatives these days that provide substantial, regular content updates.

You know, @falc0n, this is an attitude I simply do not and will never understand. Why is it that you actively want a game to fail? You don't like it? Great. Don't play it. But for those who do like it, why would you want to see it crash?

I know, welcome to the Internet. I just have never gotten a giggle out of seeing something that others enjoy failing.

It's great that they are giving people stuff to do - most of those changes/additions are good. However...Valor? GEAR UPDRADES are back??? WHAT?!?! They are literally saying here, we are giving you something to grind on THAT HAS NO USE - IT IS THE END OF THE EXPANSION ALL GEAR WILL BECOME USELESS. Adding in transmog gear would have made sense, but item level upgrade? That is lazy desperation I'm sorry. That moose mount? yeah, they saw where subs were heading and took it off the store where it was data mined to be headed and threw it in the game (which is not a bad thing, mind you.)

When did gear upgrading ever leave? That's all the crafting system was, upgrading lol. Anyway, that's all wow is. Upgrading gear with never really carry over. I never understood why games felt the need to pretty much treat expansions as completely separate entities from other content. Pandaria junk only lasted people till like half way through till they had to upgrade stuff, so that great old legendary cloak is nothing more than a transmog item like every legendary except for the ring now I guess.

I really hope they have something else brewing they haven't talked about yet.  If the expansion doesn't launch within 6 months.  This will not hold people over.  They should consider a end of expansion raid like Sunwell or Zul'aman etc.

People like you are the reason we no longer have good communities in MMOs.

Meh. As soon as I heard of it, I instantly was thinking "ya.. ofc there's upgrades".. there's no new content rofl. And cross realm mythic raiding because 85% of the top 100 hardcore raiding guilds quit this expansion because forced 20m is a piece of garbage. Nobody likes it, and just because they couldn't figure out how to balance 10m and 25m properly, they merged everything together. Good job. The amount of active players you see in-game is horrific. On a side note. At least they didn't release conquest upgrades. I could care less about PvE this expansion.
When all is said and done, more is always said than done.

They did say they were going to have a Legion invasion a few months before the expansion went live. I guess similar to like they did before they launched WoD, by replacing mobs in the blasted lands and scaling up that one dungeon.

This gap for me will be now filled with Swtor and new expansion for about 6-7 months, then maybe little playing with Gw2, Rift, ... then hopefully Legion will be able again to keep me for at least half year in after release.
