Dear Pantheon Community,
You will notice that our pledges have recently had a bit of a makeover. Most rewards have remained the same, but we have moved some to different tiers and have removed others altogether. This not only allows us to be able to ensure a top level of quality for the game but also allows us to thank earlier backers by providing them with something that may no longer be available. For those of you who have pledged prior to this change, the modifications are not retroactive, therefore you will still receive the rewards you initially pledged towards plus any new rewards that may have been added.
Reviewing our subscriptions also provided us with an opportunity to rework a few descriptions, which we feel are now better suited to our forums.
On the topic of forums, we have heard you! We are now in the process of migrating to a new forum solution. We are moving to a format that is much more familiar to our community, and has the added benefit of easy navigation, proven reliability and a simplistic layout which will better suit not only our community but also our game.
As an interim solution, we have switched our current forums to a more streamlined layout that should be easier to read and navigate until we can make the change over to the new forums. So please bear with us while we move ahead with these changes. We have no exact ETA for the new forums, but we are shooting to complete it within the next month or two.
We thank you all for your support and continued patience and we are excited that once complete, you will have a user-friendlier place to call home and enjoy discussing all things Pantheon!

The new layout is starting to look much better already!
If they had made such a change, I think it would have gotten very clearly announced.
If you have pledged/subscribed and have permission issues, please lodge a support ticket and we will try to help you get it sorted out
Thinking about it, I should probably check these pledges out, too.
Pantheon will release, there is no question of that, we are all working to hard and have put too much into it to give up now!
In regards to the ring, there will be no in-game stats or advantages over other players, so it will just be cosmetic with maybe a special effect or engraving, we haven't decided on that yet, same goes for all of the other items that are similar.
The pledges are always subject to change or being removed, so if you see something you like, my advice would be to grab it if you are able to do so
The reason I'm asking is due to not needing two copies of the game and being wary of parting with a large chunk of my money due to Brad's past history. Once you show evidence the game is on track (sorry a website and a few screenshots don't cut it) I may be willing to back it but not at the price of $100.
I will tarry in WoW in the meanwhille ganking the never ending flood of noobs...
Sorry just the way I feel.

The struggle is real.
Its the reverse, failures teach >lessons learned, infact you have an even more experienced developer in brad than any other, as he stated him self, after EQ, he thought he couldent fail, yet he did, and he realised, megalomania is a bad trait, and i think his failures made him humble, the guy could work at any gaming company in a corner and forget about his dream about making an old school mmo, and just vanish and live his life with a fairly decent pay, but i am glad this guy is taking up the challenge, no one else dared. You fail to improve, besides THIS IS NOT BRAD MAKING A GAME IN HIS basement, he is part of a very talented crew with the same visions and love for mmorpgs as him.
Still looking forward to the game's release, but I'll hang back and stop spreading the word or trying to help until you guys decide to be more welcoming to the public.
Buy after release, maybe. Give ANYTHING before hand, no... just no.
I'll have to see somewhat of a release first. I totally believe in this team, but would have to see at what point of progress they are REALLY at.
- 10%, 20%, 60% of the content and game world ?
- 10%, 20%, 60% of classes and abilities and talents ?
- 10%, 20%, 60% of the engine, coding and bug fixes ?
Actual answers will have to come from the public. This can't come from developers, IGN or Gamespot but players. Then after release of public reactions, I'll have to analyze this information and sort out the bull shit from the negative and the extra hyped up posters to come to my own conclusion. I'll need to get that unexplainable feeling that you get.
By no account does the game have to be perfect. But it does have to show future promises. Things like Mega-servers and cross realm Dungeon Finders are absolute games killers for me (only examples). Things like this are not considered broken content but un acceptable features that will always be part of the game.
I'll easily pledge $100 and later another $100. But the core of the game has to be in place, this I'll have to stand my ground.
I guess thats one way to feel "special" lol. Pay for something noone else in their right mind would.
[mod edit]
I will take Brads humble admittance and explanation of his mistakes with Vanguard over some blog where they claim to have "reliable" sources while they make defamatory accusations like cowards.
Well played sir, well played.
Why do you though? Are you here because of your concern for people here? Are you here to save them from wasting their money? Why do you bother? From my perspective, it appears that you are just interested in getting reactions out of people?
Can't wait to see the next round of changes and complaints from people saying it will never happen....
Highest I would do is $50. I would be fine if that just did Alpha and Beta access with no titles , illusions or any bonus stuff. Pass that along please.
If its half as good as Vangaurd I will be happy to sub. It would still be twice as good as anything else around today.
