Players lucky enough to have scored a Black Desert Online alpha key can now redeem the key and begin downloading the EU/NA version of the game. The alpha test will begin on Monday, October 26th and run through Sunday, November 1st.

    Ummm 83 GIG? WHAT IN THE BLUE HELL?!(From the download page) - Size matters → launcher will not detect your already downloaded data → ~83gb will secure a smooth installation, the game itself will require only 27gb. I need almost 100 gig free on a drive to 'smoothly' install a 27G download?

    I am downloading it now so far only shows the total is 27gb but not sure what it will do once it hits that mark...perhaps it will continue downloading until it hits that 83gb mark not sure.

    All those people from other sites who got a key from here due to social media in the middle of a work day must be so excited! They won't be reading this though.

    Easier to control reviewers :P Bit more picky if you can use social media sites to give away ones keys for testing. Lets see who perks up saying they are playing it.

    I think you got it backwards. It's 27 GB to download, but needs ~83 GB of harddisk space to unpack and install.

    Love it! That's actually where it came from. A co-worker used to call me that. Like, just that and nothing else. A customer complained to our boss who was like "Dude, you gotta stop in front of customers." So he started calling me Nickhead. Anyways, I didn't realize at first that BD is going through next weekend. But Devilian is only this weekend, so I'm checking out that first.

    The thing is though half the keys are being sold on sites now for 30$ that's the problem with these click first giveaways...........
