Ok I don't mind paying, and I really want to win. What game can I win for about 50 bucks a month?

I know pay to win always gets bashed like crazy, but its an unfortunate reality of today's gaming. Can you guys post some pay to win success stories? What game did you have some amazing fun on when you dropped 20-50 bucks every now and then?
I know I know, it's a crime against humanity, humor me please.
I feel like I've tried every free to play game that has ever existed, both on the MMORPG site and ones I found that are not even listed on the site. It seems like a constant repetitive motion, join game, click tutorial, get a free sample from cash shop, then see it sparkle in the corner from then on. I mainly never click it because I don't know what to buy, I'm not interested in a little mouse that chases me. If there's something in there that really makes the game more fun I'm down for it.

Perhaps if you were in the 200-500 bpm league, you'd stand more of a chance. Even then, the 2000-5000 bpm players would still be eating your lunch, but that wouldn't happen as frequently...
You need to spend like $500-1000 on armor and swords in some of those eastern games.

What kind of game are you looking for? I kinda need to know this to really suggest anything concrete.
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)
Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

In Dota 2 you can dedicate every month to a certain hero and buy a $25 arcana set for it.
Some people also spend money to have fun with the compendiums.

I think people who bought KM premium BB8 Tirpitz for $65 in World of Battleships in September are having fun with that ship. It has lighter shells but looks cool and has good maneuverability compared with ordinary battleships.

If you are into fantasy collectable card games like Magic the Gathering, there is a game called Poxnora which probably works well even on low spec laptops. You can buy card packs and stuff for real money there. It's a turn-based strategy game with 1 vs 1 matches, a bit like a combination of Magic the Gathering and Fantasy General. They also have some PvE content and campaigns in the game. I haven't played it for 4-5 years and not sure what innovations they have introduced over that time.
In earlier years I would have also recommended Navyfield as a low spec alternative to World of Battleships. I don't know about its current state because I haven't played it for many years either. They have a cash shop selling premium stuff there too.

I've always said if I had enough money and multiple awesome gaming PCs, I'd be on EVE 24/7.
It's pretty straight fwd a p2w game, it's just not at all 'broken' to those that only pay a sub. (or PLEX)

If you're not, $50 per month will be too little for any of the real pay2win games out there. You'll likely go in the hundreds per month for those.
I'd suggest going with multi-boxing in one of the more traditional P2P games then and researching about the best combination of crafting professions to farm money. You will have a big advantage with your multiple accounts and might even be able to buy top notch gear on the auction house.
Go for a game that doesn't require an initial purchase any longer, like Rift or TOR. Or WoW when you can get a package.
If you're willing to build skill, your options will be far wider. However, you won't be in much more of a better position than someone who spends less money. You can go with games like Planetside 2 and get access to a lot of weapons and vehicles which other players won't have at your level, but you'll still be owned due to lack of experience. When you get better like everyone does eventually, you'll have a lot more options though.
Similarly, APB reloaded would also offer that. Or you could play the most FOTM hero in a moba like LoL.
