Square Enix has unveiled the newest trailer for Final Fantasy XIV that paves the way for the release of the v3.1: As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness update. The trailer gives a nugget-sized visual of the most prominent new features including exploratory missions, the Gold Saucer: Lord of the Vermilion, Pharos Sirius hard mode and more. Check it out!

    Can't wait for new story! I'd really like to know what piano song is playing at the end though. I'd also like to see something based on Zorn and Thorn from IX =3

    Anyway, patch looks good. Lots of stuff coming, some not shown in the video. Looking forward to this.

    They took longer then usual for this patch due to vacations after the Expansion. They will be back to the usual schedule after this! Cant wait for the patch!

    Why is it feeble? Also what other MMO you currently playing that brings out content in its quantity and diversity that's better than FF14? For one, its not WoW, RIFT, AION, GW2, LOTRO, Wildstar or ESO so what the heck are you playing for this to be considered a feeble patch. Because if they are brining out stuff better than this I want in on the action.

    Ignore him, all he does is find every ffxiv thread he can and talk shit in it.  Literally, I've never seen anything about any other game than ffxiv posted by him, all negative.  Makes me wonder what the hell he does play.

    I believe he plays forum pvp, Open world.... wide net ;-)

    I think the song is a piano version of the Fractal Continuum theme.

    So many expansions for great mmos coming out so close together.  I'll eventually resub and play this new content.  Busy with SWTOR and soon Starcraft 2 Void atm.  Too many games/mmos, too little time.  First world problems you know ;-) .

    Can't wait for this. I love FFXIV, best themepark MMO on the market right now imo. Can't get enough of it lol.
