Being 36 now, I still remember the feeling when I played this game 15 years ago! Would like to test it out now.

Descent was my childhood! Me and my dad played through all of them! It was a time consuming task and a labor of love! The atmosphere was so finely constructed even back then. I am overjoyed that Wingman is breathing life back into such a deserving series!

I remember being in awe of the 6 degrees of movement Descent and it's sequel offered. Played both of them until I was dizzy as could be and until I'd worn out my Sidewinder joystick lol. Saw the game on Steam's Upcoming and put it on my must have list so that I could play it again and introduce it to the next generation of gamer's in my family.

Game made me dizzy when I first played it on a friends PS1 and his projection TV. Was a great time!

There are 3 types of people in the world.
1.) Those who make things happen
2.) Those who watch things happen
3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"

I'm excited about this game because I used to play Descent II so much I once fell asleep on the third-to-last level and woke up again fighting the final boss!

The first time I played the original Descent, I got hooked and played it for about two and a half hours. It made me run late for work where I quickly got up and had to shower. this was my first experience with VR motion sickness, and I promptly felt the world spin when I closed my eyes washing my hair and bit the dust at the bottom of my porcelain tub leaving a bruise on my hip that turned green 2 weeks later. cant wait to play it again!!! (I just wish I had my old spaceorb 360)

I found the game in 96 I couldn't get my bearings to save my life using keyboard. It was the game that prompted me to get my first joystick which was the Sidewinder. Was the most frustratingly fun game I had played at that time.

Impossible to wait for a chance to break more joysticks. I think I had to let two of them go when I played D1 to D3 :D

really LOVE this game even if haven't played it. my brother used to play this game in old days and he told me how hard and unique it was to control the spaceship in it. hope I could try it :)

the Descent series were my first multiplayer games, and my first 3D action games. and still to this day there have only been 2 or 3 other games of that kind ever made so i'm looking forward to a new modern version with modern networking which brings back that 6DOF action.

I have waited for years for this to happen and to now see it is incredible, I use to have a gravis phoenix and it was able to make me unstoppable in multiplayer back in the day, and I will have to find a way to make up for not having my old controller! cant wait

I am so good, I backstabbed your face!

It looks to be like an epic space game... Hyped for it.

Who said this won't be perfect after all we know what is right
And the sounds of bodies clashing is enough to make them cry.
You know this cannot be perfect even when it is feeling right.
And the sound of bodies crashing echo through the night.
