What's with all the new bugs and instability?

Ever since the release of the expansion there has been major problems with this game. SB in queensdale no longer has onscreen indication of either the pres or the event its self. This makes it impossible to know which parts of the pre still need to be done or have much time is left.

And today after yet another update, the game is entirely unstable, first not allowing me to get past the char select screen, then when it did, I lost connection in the middle of the sb event. Now I can't even log in at all, all it says is check my connection. There is nothing wrong with my connection.

Did anet sack all of their programmers and hire visa workers or what!

    I had a few crashes, 2 normaly and when I didn't have the entire HOT downloaded I crashed badly instead of downloading the needed stuff as usual. No bugs though.

    Still probably the most stable paid MMO expansion I ever seen (yeah, that is a bit sad but no downtime or gamebreakers is still really good compared to the rest and I played a lot of different games).

    Anyways, they seems to be patching a lot now so hopefully will things run smoothly real soon.

    I still can't log in, all it says is restart my connection. I did this several times already!

    Very strange bug that can tell that you are using a new ip address, but still refuses to let you log in after telling it to allow the ip address!

    Due to HoT I experienced two blue screens of death for a few days. It would always happen when I alt+tab at the same time as my hero is logging into the world. I haven't experienced this for a few days now though. 

    Also I noticed immediately when I log in with a character there's a 3-4 sec of where all the textures haven't fully loaded before it gets to normal. It's not a big deal but it looks odd. Never had this before.

    you new to mmo  especially when theres anew expantion? this is not even new  its all  normal and soon few will be fix like in all mmo

    I stopped playing for a bit since I decided i'm going to wait a week because of some of those bugs personally since I got no time pressure to play this game it'll always be there. I'll just use it as an in between game.

    This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

    I haven't experienced any major game breaking bugs.  I haven't played much since the expansion came out yet.  I logged in last night and saw a lot of people with 30 + mastery points... I just don't get the rush and the couple in my party were complaining about how unstable the game has been too.  I guess I dodged some headaches.

    I have noticed small issues with some incompletable quests.. mostly in the jungle.

    You don't have to worry about that, if there is something annoying it is that the game crashes  sometimes (happened to me once yesterday during 6 hours gameplay and 1 of the 2 buddies I played with under that time as well). It is not great so you might want to wait with the storymissions  for that reason (some of them take a while and they are generally somewhat harder then the ones in the basegame) but it is rare enough that playing in the open world is no problem.

    Hopefully will they solve this soon. I still havn't seen any bugs at all.

    From what I've observed, the game has become a little bit more power hungry. As in, it requires a tad better hardware. If you have been playing on minimum you might be out of luck. My SO and I only get disconnects every now and then but the blame here goes to our ISP. Had like 1 client crash now. A week into HoT. Nothing too dramatic. 8 gigs of ram, FX-8350/i5-2500k, decent GPUs, SSDs for Gw2.

    game crashes periodically for me. Mainly World boss events when there is a lot of people around. I think my problems are related to graphics. Think I've crashed about once a day for an average.

    All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

    I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
