With my renewed interest in CRPGs I do believe I will follow this game quite closely now.

    You stay sassy!

To test ingame CS. Also, pretty sure there'll be wipe and you get that gold back, it's standard SOP these days. Furthermore, just to show what you'll be getting when buying a pack. For me, I'll just wait for OBT. I had enough of founder packs.

    when is open beta guys
  • stonyleinstonylein Member UncommonPosts: 88
its not set in stone that there will be an open beta. closed beta is planned to be about 3 months long, then there either will be a short open beta period or they go straight to release.

Its been in beta that long it seems like there dragging it out on purpose to maximise founders packs etc.

or maybe they just don't want to release a buggy and faulty game with no endgame content?

Charging for a game in the state it is in should be a crime.

Ozmodan probably bought a ship for Star Citizen, that would explain his bitter comment about Albion. Albion Online is in fact in a very advanced state, a totally playable game, that already received plenty of polish (it was already a playable game 2 years ago, with many alpha tests and updates since then), in contrast to all the other games that are on the top hype spots on mmorpg, crowfall, camelot unchained and star citzen are about 1-2 years from the first basic alpha tests (so like 3-4 years behind albion online). that elyria thingy isn't even starting concept phase yet, maybe you see a first alpha test of that in 3 or 4 years.

pvp mmorpgs that aren't following the cookie-cutter route (wow) might not be your cup of tea, but what's the point in spreading lies about games you don't like?
  • stonyleinstonylein Member UncommonPosts: 88
let me add, gloria victis at least has a basic world already to show, tho its still lacking major game mechanics. still it seems to be at least a year or 2 ahead of crowfall and camelot unchained. if you are lucky, in 1 year those 2 games will be in the state gloria victis is in now - still far away from any meaningful closed beta test. but people here really seem to have no clue at all about the development cycle of mmorpgs. they see a screenshot of elyria, and believe its going to release in a few months. and when they see a fully functioning game like albion online, they believe its an unfinished product, because the graphics aren't the same as in archage. its really ridiculous.
