I figured you guys would have learned lessons based on other games like Archeage on throwing a bunch of money at a game that isn't released. But it's your money and not my business to tell you what to do with it. If you like the game great, I just hope it doesn't end up being a disappointment or something other than advertised when it actually launches.
That's how I feel. The only founders pack worth buying is the one that is $125 USD. But I am NOT going to drop that kind of cash on a game I have never played. After a half dozen 'founders packs' over the years, including one game I played less than 5 hours, I only buy the ones that are a good deal (the $125 USD Super Duper pack has $160 in real world purchases included, and that makes the free stuff that I will forget about a month or so into the game worth a little) and that I have tried. If I don't get into the beta to try the game, I guess I won't buy a founders pack.

I bought it but it's not worth it. You can only play it during their beta weekends (which is not even every weekend). Much better to just try the other servers with English patch.
Wait and see what a mess they make of the game before throwing your money at it.
it could be. Havent felt it as they are letting people test without expending their ncoin. if the game was not for them, atleast they can use the ncoin on other ncsoft games...still a loss. but so far had fun and with my friends it does feel worth it. However that is still yet to be seen when the game officially releases.
Ill let ya know if it was worth it for me then or a bad purchase.
While i did try this game years ago n found it fun, I decided to wait for it to come to the west. Now its not so far for it to be released. However, i am still on the fence with this game. Not sure to invest in founder packs when the game is solid, had 3 years to patch bugs and polish the game. It kills the whole aspect of it. It feels to me the founders pack is just a gimmick to get money out of us, however some of the benefits do seem to be appealing for someone who may invest into the game. But alas im not sure if to invest, if i do it may just push me to play the game through the months i did invest in. I am just getting the feeling if to wait for it to be released you know, after so many mmo flops it just sounds to be the best senario.
Not sure what to do to be honest. But I want to hear what everyone has to say, those who invested and those who havent or will never do so. Give me your opinions!
i would wait and just buy VIP and Ncoin when it comes out.

Actually if they want us cynics to buy the founders packs they need to sweeten the first two. The Master pack is worth the cash, if you like the game. The first two are not good values. I think a lot of us would bite on the lowest price pack IF IT WAS WORTHWHILE FINANCIALLY. But I'm not going to pay $25 USD for the initiate pack when the only real benefit is the three day headstart. Even that is not much of a benefit unless you are one of 'those guys' that will play 24/7 until they hit the level cap. Even the Disciple pack is not a good value. It looks good until you analyze the actual worth. Your money would definitely be better spent on NCoin & VIP. The 'added value' stuff like titles and potions will long be forgotten a month into the game.
So here is what NCsoft should do to the lower two packs to get people to buy them.
Initiate's Pack - one month VIP, one character slot and 800 NCoin, plus the other stuff already included. That is $30 in real money purchases for $25.
Disciple's Pack - Increase to two months VIP, add three character slots, and make it 3200 NCoin, plus the fluff. That is $85 in real money purchases for your $75.
The best would still be the Master Pack, with $160 in value for $125.
I'm not being greedy, but if they want me, and others that are sick of the founder's pack swindle, to spend money on one, the game producers need to make it worth our while. Making the founders packs upgradable was a good first step, but make sure each pack is worthwhile, not just the most expensive one.

I will also point out that they will probably have an open beta, so sooner or later everyone will get the chance to play Blade and Soul. Right now I am playing ESO and messing around on another Korean MMO beta, ASTA. I like ASTA quite a bit, although it really seems to be a step down in quality and graphics from B & S. For me ASTA will be the litmus test for comparing B & S. I'll play the one that is the most fun for me...

I have to agree with this, the first two are so lackluster compared to the masters pack. especially the initiative pack.

Hi everyone. Im new here. I would say get the founders pack. Even though there seems to be a lot of beta keys floating around, I would still at least get the 20 dollar founders pack.
