Best OS of Windows yet and I have been using since Windows 95. A nice performance boost and 0 issues.

For those of you that have upgraded to Windows 10.

On my current desktop I have a couple of 'gadgets' one gives me a visual of the load on each CPU, temp etc.  The other is a clock which I run multiple copies of (one for each of 5 time zones).

Will I be able to get this functionality on Windows 10?
Windows 10 doesnt seen to have gadgets, unless the Home version have since mine is Pro, i dont see it here.

I do agree on that, Windows 2000 too had a nice performance, as well as windows server 2003.

I used both as desktop version after some tweak and thei ran games and what not flawlessly.

@SoloAnything, You didn't have any issues getting the windows 10 app to load. My app just says please wait.

I still advise holding off for awhile.  Performance is very similar to Windows 7 for me, but I continue to get minor bugs with it.  Since upgrading to Win 10 CounterStrike GO locks up my pc if I do not limit my framerate, and all games have an annoying sound popping/skipping bug that is persisting through different settings and drivers for me.

Nope, no problems with apps either so far everything works great since release. Also I didn't have issues with 7 or 8, vista and ME were my trouble makers. XP, 7, 8, 10 all work great.

I've been using Windows 10 since it was first available for testing. I love it. It runs very well. There are always going to be hiccups when moving to new operating systems, you're just used to the ones in Windows 7.

I've upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for free, so I don't know what those complaints are about. All of my family are using it now and I have had no complaints. My wife is completely computer illiterate and she didn't complain. She always complains. That says something.

Last couple updates have really taken out the bugs. It's not the same OS as a few months ago. Love some of the new features and it is faster than window 7 and 8.1. Still updates the wrong drivers for my video card and ever couple weeks I need to reinstall the right one.

I did the upgrade to register then did a clean install with zero issues. I have played old games and new without any problems. I give Windows 10 a big thumbs up!

@Reizla I have updated 2 desktop computer's and 1 laptop I have, but not the one I'm on right now. I have had no problems with any of them so far. After updating the laptop (not for gaming) it actually ran better then before with 8.1. The 2 desktop computers one with 7 pro and one with 8.1 pro, upgraded to Win 10 pro. Both have been running great so far.

Only reason I haven't installed Win 10 on this one is because I just built this one a few months back and installed full version of Win 8.1 pro with media center. Which Im not ready to lose media center yet.

So I suggest you change when you feel ready to, keep reading reviews and complaints until you feel good about it, then upgrade.

Windows 10 works perfect for me.

It wouldn't even tell me I could install it on my laptop until they tested it.  I was already using it on my desktop for a month.

The only issue I had was audio and Windows 10 detected it before I could even start looking for a fix.  It asked me if I wanted it to fix an audio issue and I said sure and boom audio back online.

I have had zero issue with it working with anything out there.  All my games work flawlessly.
The OS takes care of everything for you.

The indexing is better than ever.

IMO Its the best OS they have put out to date.

But yeah, don't do it until you have to if your worried.
I am just one of those that need to have stuff early.  lol

I would wait for drivers to come out for whatever your system is (motherboard/network etc). I upgraded but was having to use windows 7 64bit drivers for windows 10, although this worked i did have issue's and niggles with network and USB's (needless to say this must have been hard on my sabretooth z77 asus board as it died within 2 months with USB and network issue's.
Really weird fault as it would detect lower ended internet connections but not high end internet connections and USB stated to give errors.
Formatted drive and re-installed windows 7 but alas the damage was done.

Got an asus z97-p now and windows 7 64bit ultimate and i will just wait for manufacturers to get some decent drivers out before i upgrade to windows 10 again. As windows 10 i beleive is the only OS that will support DX12 (windows 8.1/8/7 and earlier will not support DX12)

I have not done so yet,i am ok with Windows 8 albeit is a bit of a hog,i doubt W10 is any better.I have not noticed a single improvement on my end as a gamer to warrant moving past w95 aside from the memory read and i guess we moved from 16/32 to 64 bit?IM owe didn't need 3-4 new Windows versions just for that, a simple update and done.

However a few simple updates to give us what we actually need is not how Microsoft makes billions, they do that by selling new Windows.I don't yet know the  gimmick for W10 in making money but you can be assured there is one.I highly doubt there is anything worth having on W10 as well, aside from some updated drivers but we can get that ourselves so in reality it is basically freeware with some gimmick.
