I will say this much, On Kauri the top dog for PvP was <FS> (Foundation Stone). No one could top them and all who had to face them hated them. Nothing could stop them except the NGE.
FS is still alive and well, just not so strong in SWG anymore. Taurel was the leader and still is, and he was hated above all by the other faction.

That's weird.. on my server we had 2 with Soldiers in it.

I dont know about most powerfull, but early on SWAT was probably the most hated. This was pre hologrind, and they were one of the larger and more obnoxious guilds.

I didn't start playing untill right after the CU... (if that matters)... but i'd say Fist of the Empire (FoE) from Bria.
I was never in their guild or even knew anyone who was, so I think my opinion is objective here, but they had by far the BEST of everything, crafters, PvPer's.... they even had the best city (that is, if Bastion was indeed "their" city). I think they had the first full set of Mando on the server.... but i'm not sure if they were the first across all servers.
The only guild that left its mark serverwide was "the combine" as it housed the very first jedi in star wars galaxies. I dont remember his name but i do remember his guild.

Id have to say XCS on Shadowfire, guild had ALOT of people, the leader, Firewind, had a set of weapons made from some legendary tissue he looted, +250 damage, scatters and FWG5's with like 800+ max. The guild started the "house wall" thing, had the city setup with houses all around it forming a wall, CSR's or whatever after awhile finally deemed it an exploit and they had to take them down. I was in the guild for awhile, but they were all assholes so I left.

That would depend on a few factors.
#1 What server.
#2 PvE, PvP, Crafting, Entertaining, Service rendered (like Docs and Entertainers who buff), ETC...
#3 At what point of the game (Pre-CU, CU, NGE)

back in the days of hologrinding that one guild had more jedi than all of the other servers combined.
im told koster was posting on their forums as well for jedi feedback.

Well, as you have done listing each servers top guild would work fine. I played on BRia if anyone has ideas about that?
