And Blizzard keeps on wondering why people continue to leave in droves.

Wouldn't be surprised that a lot of players are going mental and ballistic at this very moment thinking of riding that moose soon.

This is actually good news to me. The game is pretty stagnant and there isn't anything else on the horizon. I have been enjoying gearing up for timewalking dungeons. Old sets with gem slots etc. So the addition of the dungeons will be right up my ally. The moose is " neat " but again it is something to do.

I think someone said it best, there the top mmo making tons of money just for wow alone they should be dropping major patch left and right leaving all the other mmo in the dust.

What a pathetic era for WOW when lazy Blizzard's patches are so rare that they are becoming a big thing.

Well, everyone has a different meaning for " top mmo". Making the most money? Probably yes. is it the best MMO? Most definately not.

This is why I prefer FFXIV-just take a look at their patch notes. You can tell they really put effort into their game compared to other sub based MMORPGs like WoW.

When you release a patch, and the biggest news is a moose, your game isn't doing very well.
Or it's doing well enough that they can release patches like this...

yeah but keep in mind if you compare XIV with WoW, XIV is brand new. Look at FFXI before XIV released, it is an old mmo like wow and updates were slow like wow. If XIV wants to stay sub based only they need to put out updates regularly. Blizzard is seating on their laurels because WoW is still a monopoly in the mmo world.

FFXIV is far from brand new.....is 2years 4months ~ old (not counting 1.0)....with 1 expansion already.

Yeah, XIV isn't new. It's not as mature as WOW, but it's still very much beyond any kind of "honeymoon phase" It's player base, at this point, has stabilized.

Top in money I mean. There no best mmo out there in general, as there are to many people like to many things. Best only comes down what the player and what they like in a mmo and best whats for them.

I, for one, can't wait for Legion so I can get my uber spec weapon and play with it for a year only to replace it with a green weapon in the following expansion. Everyone knows Axe of the Sun (green) > Doomhammer.
