SOE Ruins Another Game

I was tempted to turn against everything I believed in... I was going to play an SOE game: The Matrix Online. I loved the game when it first came out, and I've wanted to go back for awhile. So, I just took a quick look in the MxO forums. First post I find?

SOE are currently in the process of revamping the combat. Its a large revamp too. Look at the website for details on it.

SOE's turned me into an atheist. If there was a God, he'd be kicking some ass right now. As they said in Office Space, SOE "represents all that is souless and wrong". They need to be stopped. This would be the point in the story where, with no hope in sight, someone rises up and sends them back to hell.

    Yeah.. I loved MxO but I shudder to think what their idea of a CU would be.

    They've already screwed the game over when they consolidated the servers and cut the events staff.

    My inside source gave me this info:

    There will be nine new "iconic" proffessions

    The game will feel much more "matrixey"

    The new combat enhancement revamp (CER) is a cross between Counter Strike and F.E.A.R.

    I'm guessing the new tutorial will be Trinity helping you fight off agents. Just to remind you what game you're playing.

    And no more confusing skills like 'Kung-Fu'. They should limit it to two classes: 'Fight' and 'Magic'. And the game should choose what skills I should use, how am I supposed to know what's best?
