A new mod for Fallout 4 has turned up to give players a visual look at precisely what their characters will say when choosing a dialog option such as "sarcasm" or "hold on". The game as-is does not show players exactly what will be said that can lead to some ... awkward ... situations. With this new mod, that becomes a thing of the past.

Very nice. Going to have to give it try.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

It's not showing you their responses, so I don't see it as a spoiler.

After trying it out. Got to say, don't think I can live without it. One of my new favorite mods.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

It doesnt spoil anything it just makes your responses clear and easier to understand.

I would say that game was designed with the intent to be vague. Usurping the design to see the outcome of the story arc before the design intends one to see this, is what I would call a spoiler. IMO.

    To each their own tho.

Have to agree, not that not knowing bugs me, it bugs my wife though, so she'll love this mod.

Psst. Frodo kills Dumbledore but he comes back more powerful as Dumbledore the White and then he and Luke destroy the Death Star in Mount Doom.
And then Skeletor reconstructs it. Sorry about giving away the end.

The devs didn't intend for you to know your own statement, therefore it is a spoiler.

Did that sound better in your head? I mean correct me if I'm wrong. I'm only about to start my second character to play as evil as possible. Shouldn't I as the owner and user of my character, *The decision maker* , know what MY character is saying? If my response is hidden, from me, how exactly is that my character?

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

I spend two evenings to fortify my settlement to not only protecte my settlers against raiders, but also withstand a zombie invasion!!
Then i read that the higher your defense is, the less likely your settlement will get raided. And if it gets raided, the raiders spawn right within it.
So you build a defense for an attack that never happens and build fences while mobs spawn within your perimeter. WTF?!
Guess i'm better off waiting for a zombie invasion then...

I think with this game they moved away from you being random wasteland guy into a role.  This first more with Mass Effect.  I am enjoying it but it is not what I expected.  Knowing what you are going to say when you make a conversation choice isn't a spoiler.  I liked it in Mass Effect because I was playing someone else.  In fallout I like to create an alternate identity and role play.  It takes away from that a bit but I do enjoy playing the character they have given me so its not terrible.

Then keep it to yourself. Mods are optional, they dont force you to use it. I hate a lot of things, but you dont see me telling everyone about it.

Yeah, but in the end it turns out that Skeletor is Frodo's grandmother.

Maybe you should. It feels good to let it out.

It makes it in line with every other previous version of Fallout. Not sure why they changed it with 4 to make it this stupid simplified system that was heavily mocked by the internet community.
