Bloodlines

in EVE Online

Would it be a good idea to start working on a new bloodlines char instead of my current char with 2 months of skill training put into it. for those that would suggest getting an alternate account yes i have thought of that and i currently do not have enough to get that offer they have yet :p Just want some suggestions on this

    Unless your attributes are terribly skewed towards a skill path you don't want to train, I would not train a new character. The old and new races all have a sum of 30 attribute points, the only difference is what they are placed in. Training a new character on the same account would just waste time. Just stick with your current character.

    Stick with your char, no point on waste your past time of play with the new Bloodlines.

    What i´m woried atm is the status of the server, this new Bloodlines patch did some serious bugs and lag issues.. ::::21:: Hope they fix it soon.. lasting for 3 days now..

    if you want to make it so, there's a race i forgot which ( i can't access EVE cus i'm at work now ), a race that has 4 charisma as a start, i recommend all fighter type people to take this race, with this you can have a good balance between the rest of the attributes, try it you've got nothing to lose by trying that one.

    but if you're otherwise, there are alot of other races to choose from.

    That race would be the Caldari Asian bloodline, known as Achura. I think I may take the power of 2 offer since I have an Intaki with a base perc of 3. IT hurts badly.

    With Achura you can get stats that are 9 9 3 9 9 which is Int Mem Cha Perc Will

    nah, the new bloodlines don't really offer any advantages over the other ones (or at least not enough to scrap 2 months of training)

    Really not necessary to balance the stats to that extent. Memory is by far the least used attribute for a combat character, disregarding charisma, and there is no point wasting points in it just for learning skills and drones the majority of higher rank skills are Perception or Intelligence centric (even then, largely Perception). If your choosing Achura I'd recommend a more Perc/Int heavy set-up with willpower not far behind, for example INT: 10 CHAR: 3 PERC: 12 MEM: 6 WILL: 8.
