Over at Tencent Games Carnival 2015, the publisher of Blade & Soul in China announced the 9th class, loosely translated as Qi Master (English name unconfirmed). The new class is showcased in the game trailer below, starting from 2:10 fighting the Destroyer class character. Qi Master wields both Kung Fu Master’s and Force Master’s weapons at the same time. Below the trailer is a brief Q&A with NCsoft.

Q: How hard is it to play as Qi Master? What is this class’ role in PVE and PVP?
A: Qi Master is the essence of Kung Fu Master and Force Master, but it is not as simple as 1 plus 1. This class is able to handle both melee (high explosive damage) and long range (heal and support). Qi Master is easy to play, but hard to master. For PVE, this class can be DPS and also support and revive team members. For PVP, players must know how to switch between melee and long range.
Q: Will there be a Mentor and Disciple system added?
A: For this, Tencent Games provided us with much feedback. The aim of this system is to allow veteran players to guide new players, pick up the ropes and from there, form a strong community. Blade & Soul was indeed lacking when it comes to new player guiding, and will look into the Mentor and Disciple system once Mushin Tower, Clan, world boss, and 24-man dungeons get updated.
Q: When will the wings system go live?
A: The wings system has already completed development, but we are still adjusting certain elements. Wings are cosmetic items which will not affect battles.

Q: Any information regarding a new class beyond the Qi Master?
A: Qi Master will arrive this winter, and there will be a new class next year as well. It will not be a hybrid, and has yet to appear in the game before. All I can say is, it is a class which has been highly-anticipated for some time.
When he tp it looks like Goku's instant teleport, and it also looks like hes using a chi kamehameha!
As for the other class, Reaper?
